"Let's get down, let's get down to business
Give you one more night, one more night to get this
We've had a million, million nights just like this
So let's get down, let's get down to business
Mama, please don't worry 'bout me
'Cause I'm about to let my heart speak
My friends keep telling me to leave this
So let's get down, let's get down to business
Back and forth, back and forth with the bullshit
I know I said it before, I don't mean it
It's been a while since I had your attention
So it might hurt to hear this
Dreams we have don't ever fall away
We can't live 'em if we stay the same
And I can't do this for another day
So let's get down, let's get down to business." ♩♪♫♬💀🔥

I took some extra images while over on the Wirral at Sheldrakes, with the intention of doing some creative work, the cracked mud sparked of a little imagination which has been lacking of late....!
This is the first one,
Thanks for looking,
Chris.
Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair...” ― Susan Polis Schutz
The spirit that being with the wild horses brings out in me. Smile. This magnificent stallion is called Firestorm though of course he has no idea he even has a name. The sun had not yet fully risen when we came upon his majesty.

So, here is what’s happening. I was going to show a different equipment configuration because I am planning on using the EOS70D next time round for another go at the gyrfalcon. That would eliminate the need for the 1.4 extender and possibly speed up autofocus a bit. To that purpose, I was diligently testing at home getting some encouraging results even up to ISO 3200. A bit softer but still quite useable and I actually liked that effect. So, since the light turned dark and miserable today, I abandoned that trip and focused on showing my result with this configuration on a female red crossbill. And then of course, I got sidetracked and came across this little beauty (yes, also the female Red Crossbill) in some wonderful lighting conditions that I was unable to resist. The cool thing here is that the water in the birdbath is releasing some steam that is clearly visible in the early morning sun and the light on the bird itself is something that I could not turn a blind eye to. (yes, bad grammar I know). She is obviously quite captivated by the steam as well. No need to talk about her beak or her non-red color. And even though I suspect that she’s an adult female, just on the off-chance she’s not, she will be one soon.

Another shot from my day photographing Eagles it might be a bit over processed for some - it's perfectly good without but I liked the idea of this bird praying (hence the play on words for the title), head bowed, maybe for good fortune or maybe for forgiveness at taking another life for food - all a bit romantic I know, but you know me I like a story and to enhance the photo according to the story!

I was tempted to draw in pit hair, because every time I read Red Sonja comics, I think, "like this badass would give two shits about waxing."

It doesn't matter where you go or when you get there, it nice to drive the open road with your awesome friend.
Always awesome to hang out with Jaison.
Yay snow! I can't believe this was only 2 days ago... I was SO excited to see it snow that we just ran out immediately.
It settled really quickly and covered almost everything... then it stopped snowing... and it started RAINING. How unlucky?!
A ton of other snow photos are here on my website:- www.oliviabellphotography.com/gallery/winter/
Strap in and let gravity do the rest. MadPea Para-Rockets blast you skyward and let you parachute back down in style. Equal parts thrill, chaos, and questionable judgment.

I admire sports photographers. Their work is published in the daily newspapers or magazines and it becomes so ubiquitous that people forget what skill and concentration is involved in producing that spectacular sporting highlight. Most people don't even know the photographers' names. And of course some people never even look at their photos because they simply "don't like sports".
These martial arts athletes don't practice their sporting prowess to draw attention to themselves. They are ordinary young people with a passion for self-improvement, and whether people like their sport or not won't change their thinking one iota. There's a lesson in that for photographers too.
We must continue to take photographs and post them whether people like them or not. In fact the process is far more important than the finished product.
Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping;
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

My son asked to go shooting today. It's been a while and I felt he had lost some interest in something that we both enjoyed together. Some father and sons' enjoy and bond by fishing, playing sports, going to the movies, or other personal things, but this one is ours. He said he was inspired again and wanted to capture some LE & sunset images...I was so happy, I responded and said..."Let's Go!"
What a wonderful time we had. These are memories that I will cherish forever!
