Growing Lantana in the garden is a great way to add color and interest. Simply choose a sunny location and plant them in well-drained soil. These colorful flowers are pollinator friendly!
Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters...Disney California Adventure Park
Inspired by my earlier photos of spinning teacups at Disneyland, I wanted to attempt a similar photo here at Luigi's...
My take on the teacups has been to include spinning people in the photo, that are not just spinning smears, along with the teacups making spectacular trails of color. In order to accomplish this to my vision, it is necessary to make multiple exposures; long exposures for the color trails, and short exposures to capture the people. Tripod use is mandatory here. These exposures are blended in post processing using various masking techniques.
Since Luigi's is very similar to teacups in essence, (fast-moving set-pieces on a permanent stage) it is a similar setup and execution. I shot several instances of the ride in action, some long exposures, at both the beginning of the sequence and the end of the sequence, in order to catch the motion before and after the movement and spinning. I chose to use the ending sequence of the ride here, where the cars spin for a short time, and then park themselves in their spots. The tricky part is switching from slow to fast exposures while the ride is going through its paces.
In Lightroom, the exposures were adjusted for light and color values. In Photoshop, they are blended, and adjusted for texture, detail, and artistic touches.
This was shot during Halloweentime, so...Cadillac Range is purple....
Trees let you see the forest because they are the forest.
Path let you see your destiny because it is your destiny.
Los árboles te dejan ver el bosque porque son el bosque.
El camino te deja ver tu destino porque él es tu destino.

Lets Dance
David Bowie
Let's dance
Put on your red shoes and dance the blues
Let's dance
To the song they're playin' on the radio
Let's sway
While color lights up your face
Let's sway
Sway through the crowd to an empty space
Another image from our Ballerina shoot Sunday morning at La Perouse.
Hope you like Let’s Dance
