The Clarence Hotel is a four-star 51-room hotel located at 6–8 Wellington Quay, Dublin, Ireland. It is in the Temple Bar neighbourhood, on the River Liffey. It was built in 1852, and bought by U2 lead singer Bono and lead guitarist The Edge and their business partners in 1992, and opened after refurbishment in 1996. Some people in Dublin say if you hang out long enough there, you will see the members of the U2 band.

This is a Eurasian griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) at a falconry which is located in a natural reserve area. Unlike the falcons or eagles, the vultures always seem to react to the presence of visitors in front of their enclosure. Sometimes you even have the impression that they would like to communicate.
I had to take the capture through the fence again and unfortunately the bird was sitting in a rather dark corner of the aviary. The quality of the capture in the comments is slightly better than of the top shot but I still like the first capture better because of the direct eye contact.

On September 11th, 2001, the last American plane in the air controlled by terrorists, was headed toward The White House.
A brave young American man organized his fellow passengers to storm the cockpit. At the last moment he said, "Let's roll".
They all perished. Thank you to that brave young man and the sacrifice he made along with all of his fellow passengers;
many fathers, mothers and children. Sadly, they all never got to see another sunset again. May they all... Rest In Peace
