Converted from the Palace Cinema, this is the establishment that it was yearning to be. With elements from Ninjago and a kitchen stocked from an extra Parisian Cafe, this restaurant has had it's footprint expanded to allow easy dining for all minifigs who want a nice asian meal.

This is just the 21020 set of Trevi Fountain in Rome from Lego Architecture series... :)

This build was for a client (Architecture). While the project remains undisclosed and is temporarily shelved due to COVID-19, I want to share the images before boxing up the model for a while. Hopefully this project will get revealed to the public and built at some point.

I made it to day 4! The Courtyard by Marriott downtown is a beautiful building, but at this scale, its hard to show.

I have finally begun a model of the 40 story art deco Guardian Building designed by Wirt C. Rowland and built in Detroit in 1929 for the Union Trust Company. The base of the building measures 44 x 134 studs and when complete, it should be over 8 feet (about 2.5 meters) high.

This view shows the roughed-in ground floor and the partially completed upper banking level.

Notes:

1. I had to reduce the number of elevator shafts from 12 to 8 due to the limitations of the scale.

2. I did not have enough sand-red LEGO to use to represent the Numidian marble so I am using dark red.

3. The black 2x2 blocks on the upper level represent the bases of the pillars that support the arches and the vaulting over the banking level.

4. Eventually the upper and lower floors will be fully tiled.

To unwind from all the LEGO building, I'm building more LEGO. Playing around with some purely digital Star Trek TNG.

This house has a number of cuboid bodies linked together by a dark blue tiled hallway hosting a spiral staircase. Large glass windows offer a view of the ground floor and roof garden. Solar panels and home grown vegetables contribute to a sustainable way of living.

My third version of Detroit's Fisher Building nears completion. The roof of the integral Fisher Building parking garage is unfinished as is the back of the secondary tower next to it. There are also a few details here and there that need some polishing.

The model takes up a considerable space in my living room (this will not be its permanent storage location). The building's footprint measures 50 x 70 inches - 35 standard baseplates. Two of baseplates will have a gas station when I get around to building it.

This protruding

rock was one of the most difficult parts of the build.

Tiger’s Nest is the popular name of the Paro Taktsang Monastery.

It’s a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and temple complex, located in the cliff-side of the upper Paro Valley in Bhutan. The initial temple complex was built in 1692.

The monastery is located 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) to the north of Paro and hangs on a precipitous cliff at 10,240 feet above sea-level, about 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley.

The monastery buildings consist of four main temples and residential buildings. They are ideally designed by adapting to the rock (granite) ledges, the caves and the rocky terrain.

This Lego Model of the Monastery has taken around eight months to build with approximately 200,000 parts.

This build is part of a larger display I'm developing for exhibition next year, where I'll be revisiting and expanding on the concept of Neo Fabuland—a reinterpretation of the classic Fabuland aesthetic, much like how Neo-Classic Space draws inspiration from the original Classic Space theme.

I currently have several builds in progress for this display, and this is the second one to be completed.

This build is not inspired by an existing Fabuland set. It features a stucco rendered brick train station building with a tiled roof on a stone platform perched on a hilltop. The build includes a cutaway bridge underpass and rounded rocks as well as my spreading tree technique.

The train in this build is based on the engine from 910035 Logging Railway and also showcases my approach to Neo Fabuland windows, using brick-built frames with vinyl-cut sticker panes to echo the distinctive charm of original Fabuland designs.

My Lego replica of the Griswold building. Note the skylights on the third floor. The prototype was designed by Albert Kahn in 1929.

Update:

In 2014, the real building was revamped and renamed "The Albert". The former residents were asked to leave and the newly renovated apartments are being marketed to young professionals who can afford the $1,200 to $2,300 monthly rent.

This is my personal version of Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany in Architecture style!

I love this castle, since my childhood. It has a magical charm, like it comes from a fantasy novel...

It is said that even Walt Disney was inspired by it in the concepting Sleeping Beauty's Castle for his parks!

So I tried to capture its original composition in relatively few pieces.

Just a small architecture build inspired by TOM ALPHIN's "THE LEGO ARCHITECT" book!

A Pet Shop, Brown-stone Town House MOC variant, in Green. (Does that make it a "Green-stone?" Does that even make sense? Anyway, it's green, and it's filled with every thing a big family could want, in a small space.)
