Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”
“You have said so,” Jesus replied.
When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.
Now it was the governor’s custom at the festival to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Barabbas. So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him.
While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.”
But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.
“Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor.
“Barabbas,” they answered.
“What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked.
They all answered, “Crucify him!”
“Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.
But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”
When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”
All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”
Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

My goal with this build was to create a weathered down house with slight hints of vegetation and plant life. Running out of black tile (3/4th the way through😬) made it especially hard to capture the look of this house. Fortunately I was able to pull through and finish this build.😊
I have created this build for the Tinymasters Building Contest on Instagram (www.instagram.com/tinymasters.contest/). The theme for the round was "Forced perspective".
This is a recreation of the promo art for the set "Guilds of Ravnica" from the game Magic: The Gathering. The original artwork has been done by Titus Lunter - you can check it out on his instagram page: www.instagram.com/p/BnUUK_WCeJ4/
I have been in love with this piece of art ever since the first time I saw it. With it's beautiful autumn mood and the great perspective it was the perfect inspiration both for this challenge and for the current time of the year.
The LEGO model has been created and rendered in Bricklink Studio but only official pieces in existing colors have been used.
My latest Lego creation, the Kraft Building. My Husband said it looked like his old elementary school. Unfortunately I could not find any pictures online of Kraft Elementary to see the similarities. This Lego creation was shown at Michigan Brickworld last September. I'm a member of the Michigan Lug Group.
Building: The Majestic Theatre Ipoh (1940 - 19 June 2012)
Location: No.2 Chamberlain Road, Ipoh (Jalan Chamberlain Hulu)
Building style: Art Deco
Danish Architect: Berthel Michael Iversen (1906-1976)
再見大華
承載幾代人的集體回憶
怡保大華大戲院
(The Majestic Theatre Ipoh)

I've build this interlude especially for a LUG venue in about 1,5 months.
From what you see 95% is new. I only reused the fountain, the gondolas and the street lighting from my previous Venice moc. The rest is new and build from the ground up.
Even the water had to be rebuild because it fell apart when i broke down venice part 1 in 23'
I hope you enjoy what you see, and if you have any technique breakdown requests. Let me know

So this is where i worked on for the past 3years (on and of). Approximately 3000 hours and 250.000 parts later I present to you with great pride and incredible detail; Venice 1486 as it might have looked in the 15th century.
This is the first chapter of a total of 4, in which I'll take you into an adventure of Darion as a Master Assassin.
Let me know what you think 🙏
--------------------------------------------------------------
"Osservare" in the English tongue better known as Observing. By far the most boring thing about finding your mark, but absolutely necessary.
Meet 'Darion Aiulf da Fortebraccio' and his eyes and ears in the sky 'Gaita' an Italian barn owl. Darion is a Venetian nobleman, and to others unknown also a Master Assassin and former member of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins.
Abandoned by his brothers and mentor for disobedience. He now is a solitary assassin that seeks his targets through the signs of god. For his next mark, faith steered Darion in the direction of the Templar order. Who now have a foothold on Venice city grounds and even managed to get the newly elected doge 'Marco Barbarigo' on their side. Marco openly expressed his support for the Templar Order...
And so this is where our story begins!
Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true.
Where other men are limited by morality or law, Remember, everything is permitted.
We work in the dark to serve the light.
We are assassins!

A personal favorite module for my LEGO Cyberpunk modular display NEW HASHIMA. Inspired by the Nakagin Capsule Tower in Tokyo, Japan. An iconic example of Japanese metabolism architecture.
————————————
Welcome to NEW HASHIMA(端島) - Sector 08. Built on the remnants of the old Hashima Island mining colony after over population forced consideration of innovative development options. Sector 08 is home to middle through upper-class citizens of NewHashima and holds many of the more beautiful structures found in the island mega-city.
When darkness descends on the old city, awful creatures crawl into the streets in search of victims, but some of them, whose eyes are not yet fully accustomed to the gloom of the Long Night, are looking for a little bit of light. They light torches, roam the narrow alleys, and pick up lanterns created by the Mad Lantern Master many years ago. Lanterns that cannot be lit without feeding them someone's soul...
Many people don't even know that the Mad Lantern Master's workshop has always been right under their noses.
Fear the dark, good hunter. But also don't trust the light too much.

This is a high-detailed model of the streets of Yharnam, a gothic city from the Bloodborne video game. It is a composite recreation of buildings from the game (and also from Howard Lovecraft's stories), not an exact model of any particular location.
At the back of the building is the open interior of the Mad Lantern Master's workshop.
Since 2021, I started developing this model, and this was my first experience with a hybrid build: I created design in Studio, and then tested different constructions with real parts. However, I only had enough details for the “rainbow” version :)

This project was equally focused on modern architecture and believable damage. That sort of focus has already been the leading theme of my Raid diorama and it once again proved to be a fun thing to make. I also intended to work primarily with slightly less common colors here, namely a lot of dark tan and dark orange. The base is 24x32 studs large.
LEGO scale model of three medieval towers and their surroundings in Ghent, Belgium. Featuring the Saint Nicholas church, medieval Belfry tower and Saint Bavo’s Cathedral.

Combined dimensions: 116 x 32 cm
~10.000 parts in total
This LEGO model depicts a typical Albert Kahn designed reinforced concrete factory building that in circa 1910 began replacing the old mill style factory buildings such as the Ford Piquette Avenue factory.
This model is a portion of one of the seven buildings of the Russell Industrial Center. This complex was commissioned by the J W Murray Mfg. Co. in 1915. Albert Kahn's firm designed the buildings that make up the 2.2 million square feet site. It was completed in 1925 at which time the company was reorganized as the Murray Body Corporation. Before the Great Depression curtailed sales this company was the third largest supplier of car bodies to the automobile industry. After some years of disuse the now renamed Russell Industrial Center is home to an arts community/marketplace. The building has been modified over the years with some of the large windows being replaced by concrete blocks.
The LEGO model is 30" L x 30" W; it represents part of one building located in the northwest corner of the complex. The model contains many, many 1x2 dark red and red-brown plates for the bricks. Each of the large windows contains either 67 or 81 trans-clear elements. Light gray (old) is used to simulate the exposed reinforced concrete. The building has a semi-complete interior with floors but since I have not found any photos of the interior, there is no details as of yet.
The real building extends much farther than is depicted on the model; the rest of the building (nine more window bays) is identical to the section on the left under the sign. The sign is all LEGO; it was made possible by some recent LEGO sets called DOTS.
This build is a large castle/landscape display featuring The Knights of the Black Falcon and The Forest Guard.
First and foremost the aim of this build was to showcase what I love about those classic mid-80s Castle sets and specifically my two favourite factions. I have drawn inspiration from the original sets featuring each faction, specifically what I loved about them as a child and aimed to contrast that with what appeals to me as an adult builder.
The build features two fortresses side by side, Falkenholt Castle, the fortress of the Knights of the Black Falcon and an underground network of caves and tunnels that comprise the fortress of the Forest Guard.
Some of the elements that I am most happy with in this build are the level of detail and texture, the cross-section style cutaway on the edges of the build showing the internal structure of the castle as well as the geological layers of rock, clay and soil.
A cozy lake house in the rain inspired by a render by Rodrigo Mila. House about 2100 bricks, forest and water about 8500 bricks. Computer rendering but only existing bricks/colors were used. Reference image.
Pyke, the seat of House Greyjoy.
Westeros.
Game of Thrones.
I'm a huge fan of Game of Thrones, so decided to build something related to that. The obvious castles would have been King's Landing or Winterfell but to me Pyke seemed more interesting, visually. I could build according to the description in the books but add something of my own as well and end up creating my version of it.
Also, I had an opportunity to do some more rockwork, :-) how could I lets that pass.... :-) :-) I used curved slope on plate for most of the rock.
One would think I'd be a bit more creative with my choice of topic, having done two churches the past years. Yet here I am, posting just another one. Its a fun one this time though, promise :)
St. Basil's Cathedral was on my list ever since I got interested in LEGO Architecture, simply because of its lavish use of colour, its ornate facade and those amazing domes that top it off. Its such a fascinating building that has inspired people around the world for centuries. Now I finally decided to give it a shot, wanting to bring something new and exciting to conventions this year.
After quite a few sleepless nights and numerous Bricklink orders containing small doses of dark turquoise I finished it just in time for På Kloss Hold in Trondheim, the annual Norwegian event, in the beginning of April. And now its proudly sitting on display in the living room of my new apartment! :)
Finally I need to thank Mel for suggesting using the madness that is dark turquoise (it is spot on!) and César for almost daily feedback along the way. Thanks!

"Gathered friends... Listen again to the Legend of the BIONICLE."
A microscale landscape build with a central location from the island of Mata Nui, with a minifigure trophy part representing Takanuva, Toa of Light.
Taking inspiration from different depictions of Kini Nui temple from three separate BIONICLE media: the temple hidden in the jungle as depicted in commercials for the first BIONICLE sets, the four-spired temple in Mata Nui Online Game, and the area across the stream with the sand pit and the giant Toa head carving that features prominently in BIONICLE: Mask of Light.
Main temple structure was originally built for New Elementary Parts Fest
This is a Lego modular of the F-town Building located in Sendai, Japan by architect Atelier Hitoshi Abe. About 8500 bricks of which over 3000 are white 1x1 plates. 😂 Computer rendering but only existing bricks were used. Reference images.

The latest Design Insights for my years-long project to build the entirety of Imperial Rome are now posted on my Patreon page! These insights cover the VELABRUM; the region of Ancient Rome which sat at a crossroads between the Capitoline and Palatine Hills.
Like the Arch of Janus depicted in the sneak peek rendering, this post marks a turning point in the progression of this project which I first announced on the Kalends of January. It has taken some time to lift off the ground, but the steadfast support of all my patrons has helped me reach a point where the design updates will now be coming fast & furious over the next several weeks of intense design efforts.
I very much still need your support in making this project a reality! It's no stretch to say that this is my most comprehensive - and exciting - project to date. It takes a village to realize any ambitious undertaking, but this is certainly not without its rewards. I encourage you to visit my Patreon page and consider contributing. In exchange, patrons will be the first to see all the newly designed areas, with exclusive perks and further insights / access for the higher tiers.
To put it another way, the soldiers are being mustered, the generals have made their offerings at the Temple of Mars Ultor, and the legions are now marching toward the frontier for the long campaign season ahead! Onward - and festina lente!
Tiger’s Nest is the popular name of the Paro Taktsang Monastery.
It’s a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and temple complex, located in the cliff-side of the upper Paro Valley in Bhutan. The initial temple complex was built in 1692.
The monastery is located 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) to the north of Paro and hangs on a precipitous cliff at 10,240 feet above sea-level, about 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley.
The monastery buildings consist of four main temples and residential buildings. They are ideally designed by adapting to the rock (granite) ledges, the caves and the rocky terrain.
This Lego Model of the Monastery has taken around eight months to build with approximately 200,000 parts.
This MOC won two awards at BrickCon 2013. Best Architectural Style and People's Choice Hon. Mention
Lego build of Rubensstrasse 11-19, Düsseldorf, Germany. The townhouses were built in 2018 but the houses are inspired by the 1920s. The architect is Sebastian Treese Architekten and developer is Ralf Schmitz. About 15,600 bricks. Computer rendering but only existing bricks/colors were used.
So I won a place in the LEGOLAND Billund Gallery and the entry I chose was actually too big to fit. Ever tried shrinking a model? Yeah, you better start from scratch. At least that’s what I did. I laid out the size it can have, so that I could transport it in a box and within that frame I started to build the base again. The build is now in a cabinet at LEGOLAND for the season 2022.
Lego build of Mak Residence by Lars Langberg Architects. The house can be divided into several parts and is fully furnished. About 6600 bricks. Computer rendering but only existing bricks/colors were used.

With this building I wanted to create a single-color house and instead of colors using a lot of structure on the facade. The building can be opened at the back and when fully opened, the two parts of the back expands the facade on the front and it becomes a 64 studs wide building. On the ground floor there is an architecture office and above that a large apartment. About 9700 bricks. Computer rendering but only existing bricks/colors were used.
