One more from Sunday evening and another dress I haven't worn since last summer. I wore this dress for the first night at Sparkle last year it's one of my favourites because it's completely different to anything else I really own.
As photographers, professional or amateur, we all strive to capture a moment that tells a story, touches a heart, stirs emotions or simply pleases the eye. This picture, I share with pride, for it was the last taken of a man that fought and lost a short but very difficult battle with cancer. His son sat behind him to help support him while he ate. This picture is love .....

Wonderfully restored Everett Railroad 2-6-0 Mogul leans into the curve. Built by Alco Cooke Works in 1920.
Sadly, this house has now leaned all the way down to the ground, over the course of one year between visits.

Sometimes in our lives
We all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me
When you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on...
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need somebody to lean on
Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill
Those of your needs that you won't let show
You just call on me brother when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'll understand
We all need somebody to lean on
Lean on me
When you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on...
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need somebody to lean on
You just call on me brother
When you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'll understand
We all need somebody to lean on
If there is a load you have to bear
That you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
If you just call me
Call me
If you need a friend
(Call me)
Call me (call me)
If you need a friend
(Call me)
If you ever need a friend
(Call me)
Call me
(Call me) Call me
(Call me) Call me
(Call me) Call me
(Call me)
If you need a friend
(Call me)
Call me
(Call me) Call me
(Call me) Call me
(Call me) Call me
(Call me)
Not a web-builder; rather, it stalks its prey like a hunting feline. Hence the lynx title. I have applied as much "magic" as I can with Topaz to improve the sharpness of the spider, but the identity of the prey is not clear.
Taken at Campbell Valley Park, Langley, British Columbia, CA.
This little Dee puts pressure on me for a handout of seed. They were following me continually on the trail some even flying into my face to get the point across. Either that, or it was just my personal magnetism. Some call it the Snow White syndrome.
Better On Black
Prop open two windows. Set phone on tripod. Set timer and press button. Run around the corner, place bag over head. Lean out window. Smile.

After the previous succes of my last photograph on [Explore] I have decided to snap a few other Leaners I pass on the way to work.! This is on the A39 Also just outside of Kilkhampton this afternoon on a lovely bright day but very cold!
We arrived at the Grand Canyon just as the sun was setting and enjoyed the incredible views of the absolutely massive canyons.
We had to head over to our campsite as they were first come first serve and after driving around, the last one was just taken minutes before we arrived.
We ended up asking a couple if we could share the space that they had and they were more than welcoming.
After unpacking all of the tent stuff, we realized that we were missing one piece, the actual tent...
With several minutes of searching and realizing that we were indeed tentless, we decided to fashion a lean-to out of the slip cover that would go over the tent to protect from rain. The tree we found worked perfectly and everything was set.
I knew that I wanted to try and capture a frame with our lean-to and Polaris just happened to be perfectly placed for a star trail photo.
The lights going back and forth from the tent are from headlamps as we went back and forth while cooking our food. They are obviously messy but I loved what they conveyed about the photo.
Stacked using Starstax.
