When shooting this I didn't realize that I had captured the reflections of the trees around me in the wet leaf. Love surprises like this!

I placed this leaf from a Acer platanoides (Norway Maple) on top of a pine tree. With the sun shining through it, it looked like a beautiful star.

Taken on the Shropshire Community Flickr meet in Bridgnorth. Lots of Autumn leaves were on the ground and they made for for lovely compositions. I took this whilst everyone else was chatting by the cars.

Autumn is beginning to turn into winter, but it's still hanging on!

found this in the archives while doing some backing up. I remember processing this photo last year, and never getting it onto Flickr because it just wouldn't load up. I don't know what the problem is, but when I used to process RAW to TIFF to JPG (I know, unnecessary steps) the photo wouldn't load onto Flickr. Hmmph! This year when we visited Yosemite, the tree this leaf came from was already bare. It's always the most spectacular tree in early October, but it does lose it's leaves quickly. Thus it was nice to see something from my old friend. ;-)

Yellow leaves make a pattern in the sunlight.
