I got a circular polariser for my birthday the other day. It completely cuts out the light emitted by LCD displays, causing this weird effect.

This is one of my cats.. pacing back and forth on the top of my flat-screen TV. It's very thin and he's getting a little pudgy, so it wobbles a little bit as he crosses, it's funny to watch his face, he seems to get pretty scared, but still won't get down..
