This was the first round with 7 participants. I tried to define the feel and basic visual.

RD13719. Over the weekend of 10th/11th September, 2016 the Railway Enthusiasts' Club of Farnborough ran their annual Model Railway Exhibition at the Leisure Centre in Woking. If you didn't go, you should have done!
This is a 009 Gauge layout depicting what the standard gauge Wantage Tramway might have looked like had it been built as a 2ft 3in narrow gauge line. Operating the layout is Flickr member Nigel Matthews, aka Gook the Goblin.

DESIGN STUDY FOR A TOY TRAIN LAYOUT
This is a design study for an O gauge toy train layout losley based on those that were used by Lionel in department stores back in the 30's, 40's and 50's.
However, this layout features track and accessories from a modern day competitor to Lionel: MTH Railking. ( www.railking.com ) I find their track and components to be of a bit higher quality than those that Lionel still makes.
Layout designed use RR-Track software. ( www.rrtrack.com )
Exported as a bmp and then converted to a JPEG for uploading. My apologies for the poor quality.

Here is the layout for a custom 20-screen Regal Cinemas theater that I created. It will be inspired by theaters like Fairfield Commons 20 and Warrington Crossing 22.

My humble Christmas layout.
The Steam engine is the Santa Fe 5000 Madame Queen. The tender is powered by two PF XL motors which give it a tremendous pulling power at slow speeds.
Up to six heavy 8-wide cars are possible uphills. Will have to replace the standard rubbers on the driven axles with custom O-rings to further improve traction.

Today I started with the other side of the curve. I am starting to worry that once the last bit of the curve is finished, somewhere I missed a stud and I have to start all over.
