Used virtually all of my baseplates to create this layout, with the help of a program I wrote which enables me to shuffle plates easily around the computer screen - fairly useful when you don't have much physical floor space to work with!
Layout para o site Nicki Minaj Brasil, tentei puxar um pouco do Pink Friday. www.nickiminajbrasil.com
This illustration shows the current version (v.5) of the track plan/module configuration for my Fareham layout project. This may change as I continue to build the layout; however, I have more or less used it to build the first 4x modules. The modular tables I am using are shown as alternating pink/blue rectangles and are nominally 45"x30" (3x2 48-stud baseplates). The rear section of the layout (at the top of the drawing) is a planned yard/storage area. I may change this section in order to accommodate more stock and to include "offsite" junction connections to modular club layouts. I will focus any changes on eliminating track sections which cross table boundaries. I want to ensure track sections are aligned with table boundaries so that they can be semi-permanently mounted to the table for better reliability.
The layout essentially consists of two main running lines each with independent control. Either line can be assigned to DCC operation or to one of 2x 9V DC "cabs". There is a C-Bus control network which runs around the layout to control the switches and the signals. Some of the boards also have independent switches for the lighting, e.g. street or platform lamps.
A small event hosted at the NTM (Nederlands Transport Museum)
Our layout consisted of 3 modules, Tamà s, Ties and my yard. We also had some static display tables. All in all a fun layout at a fun event.
Next time I'll try to charge my trains before the event o,0
Also; check out Ties' film about the event here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtgEQxUw01g
Pictures from Norwegian LUG Brikkelauget's layout for the 50th anniversary event for LEGO Norway. This is one of F0NIX' buildings from Kirkegårdsvegen in Tromsø.

Beijinhos!
Perhaps an all too simplistic diagram for such a complex subject. But there is a definite balance to strike when considering the layout of a web page in relation to the users and the client's wants and needs. The purpose of the page will obviously influence this but its something that is a constant struggle and getting it right results in conversions, and increased user interaction.
Submitted materials, spread layout design for a new magazine on contemporary Hungarian fashion/beauty/photography.
This was the first round with 7 participants. I tried to define the feel and basic visual.
All the photos used for this layout submission are the property of their respected owners.
None is used for any printed or published material only for this one-time preview.
The main layout at the Norwegian LUG Brikkelauget's annual exhibition in late April. This is Baard's fantastic modular version of the Baptist Church of Sandefjord - a gorgeous model. What you can't see is how this building looked when Baard arrived at the event on the Friday - it was totally smashed, so he spent most of the time until the event opened to the public on Sunday rebuilding the whole thing. Very impressive!

Horrible photo of my layout aside - no laughing at my younger self! And no, that is not my husband!! That was a sorority formal date and that is a hand made dress. I am NOT a seamstress! What was I thinking?! Also for Shimelle's challenge to use lace.
Um dos layouts mais perfeitos que fiz atualmente, eu curti, o dono curtiu e pelo jeito todos estão curtindo! Vejam online www.4minute.com.br

A picture from Danish LUG Byggepladen's layout at the 2012 LEGO Fan Weekend in Skærbæk, Denmark. This is, I believe, a Swedish neighbourhood.
I’ve managed to get a lot of work done on the layout recently and have gotten many things done.
I’ve managed to finish all the ballast work and added light grey plates around the ties to get more detail.
I have also been slowly adding more trees to the layout and have been able to build up a more wooded area to the left of the road.
Since I started the layout I have been slowly building up some commercial buildings on the right of the road. The exteriors are mostly done except for some roof detail and they are all needing some more interior work.
In front of the buildings I have replaced the awkward road baseplate i h a brick built parking lot, although I used up most of my dark grey bricks, I still think it was worth it.
All in all I’m happy with my progress and am now working on mor finer details for the layout!

Me in a big, swishy, stripey, pink dress. What about that scenario wouldn't find it's way into a scrapbook?
Page made for a Guest Designer's spot at with the Crafty Templates 'Quirky Kit' [June 2011].

Yes this layout was originally posted on Plurk Layouts but because they no longer host or create free plurk layouts and I am the designer, it will now be available on LayoutFREAK!

Part of an N-gauge layout of mine ca. 1984 or so.
This is a little shack to lend flavor to a layout of mine that was centered around coal mining. The shack was illuminated, had wired telephone poles leading to it so one could reasonably imagine the denizens therein actually had power, and a little ham radio antenna, because as a ham myself, I could well imagine some fellow, all hermit-like, sitting there spending his time at his radio, endlessly talking about the weather. I built the antenna and the tower out of clipped ends of resistor leads, soldered together. The tower used heavier leads than the antenna; it came out OK, I thought. You can see the antenna easily, but only the top of the tower in this photo.
The shack itself was, if I recall correctly, kit-bashed out of a small train station kit.
I had fun perching the shack precariously against the hillside, and weathering it, because deep in my heart, I knew that ham guy wasn't ever going to paint that thing. :-)
