I keep pointing to and referring this layout by the almighty Bryan Veloso from circa 2006. I remember it being an inspiration back then and has definitely left a mark amongst many of us... myself included. It still pops up every now and then in conversations with colleagues.
Now, this is problematic and it's bigger than might appear at first glance. The ephemerality of our medium is becoming more and more overbearing. I keep referring back to sites that have been redesigned, have moved or simply have ceased to exist.
Thankfully, there's Internet Archive... still, although their effort is amazing and definitely valued, it isn't 100% effective nor complete. Thus, I'll start archiving a few role models that have lead me along the path of this web industry of ours.
Layout do troféu da 5ª Copa Nestlé de Futsal- Material: Certificado, troféu, squeeze, camiseta, bexigas, banner e faixa. Projeto completo e organização do evento patrocinado pela Unimed Caçapava
This is what I have planned so far for my February exhibition. It will likely cover a few different creative progressions, all the way back to the Body Series. The colored empty boxes are paintings or studies not yet completed, anything filled in, I'm fairly certain I will have for the show, and the cluster of works in the corner are pieces I may have access to if I'm lucky.
It may look like I'm in good shape, but seven of the paintings in my layout have been recently delivered to galleries. There's a chance they could sell and then I'll be short work again. We shall see. Hopefully if they sell locally, I can get them on loan from the buyers.
