Summer Upside Down Layered Potato Bake (Cake)

The theme this week was to keep the image simple and use kk_awake as the texture. This is a glass frog I only used a gradient layer mask and some cleaning up with black/white brush in the mask, then a touch Topaz Lab Adjust 5 filter.

Standing in my parent's yard, I looked up at the summer trees. Layers of leafs looked back at me.

THis is the second attempt at this picture. The first came out ok, but I think this one is a little more dramatic - I like it a little better.

I feel as if I have broken a composition rule. Not sure which, but choosing to leave the focus only on the left of the image is somewhat unsettling to my eyes. I wonder why.
