This February, we kick-off with our first meet-up focused around the Cloud + Gaming with LAUNCH Presents: Microsoft
The term “cloud gaming” is usually associated with distribution scenarios for games, such as progressive download and video streaming on-demand. But the cloud offers game developers and studios a rich set of opportunities for enhancing game experiences and monetisation.
In the multi-player, multi-game, multi-platform, multi-device world, the cloud provides coherence, seamless experiences and the data driven insight required to drive engagement and revenue generation. From AAA titles to app store download, the game now spans the app and the cloud.
Microsoft would like to share its perspective on this opportunity for large studios and indie app builders.

It was such a long wait till launch. About an hour. People also kept confidently pushing in leaving you wondering if they had special permission or if they were being rude.
When I finally go to launch position the official peered at me..."Are you a woman?" "Can I take your photograph?"
hmmm this sport needs more women!

Background:
A global social media campaign to speak up against gender-based violence has been launched using #NoExcuse and #16Days.
There is #NoExcuse to violence against women
Nearly one in three women experience violence in their lifetime. Girls are at particular risk of violence—1 in 4 adolescent girls is abused by their partners.
For thousands of women, the cycle of gender-based violence ended with one final and brutal act—their murder by partners and family members.
Femicide (or feminicide) is the intentional killing of a women or girl because of her gender. It is a universal problem, and the most brutal, visible, and extreme manifestation of the cycle of gender-based violence that women and girls endure.
Violence against women and girls can and must be prevented.
