Saturday night was the launch party of a new vehicle for the local arts scene, a school bus that has had a major makeover into a mobile night club, with an emphasis on the arts... There was a big event held in conjunction with the first public unveiling of the bus... www.facebook.com/BassBus

On Tuesday I was invited to join the media for a launch of Woo's new a la carte dinner menu on the 5th floor of the Toronto Life Square building.
The new menu has been brought in by new Exeutive Chef Christopher Kanka.
Around the table were folks from Taste TO, Dine.TO, Sun Media, and Juicy.
As you know, I don't normally go to restaurant media events because I feel it's important to maintain an arms length relationship with all restaurants, both in and out of the cheapEats price range. However, circumstances were such that I met the chef through a friend just a couple of days before this event so I didn't feel it would compromise things.
The sun crests the mountain tops back lighting the launch complex for NASA's Pad Abort-1 flight test of the Orion Launch Abort System on the White Sands Missile Range near Las Cruces, NM.

Rwanda gets about 3.5 billion Rwandan francs (3 382 000 Euros) grant that will be used to improve woodlot management, charcoal production and tree seeds quality.
The Project, funded by the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) through the World Bank, will conclude in December 2019.
It will be implemented as part of the Landscape Approach to Forest Restoration & Conservation (LAFREC) Project which work focuses on the rehabilitation of the Gishwati-Mukura landscape.
The intervention area and implementation mechanism of this NDF_funded project will be the same as the existing LAFREC mechanism
