Today's image is yet another shot of Henry during his school sports day, again in the triple jump. The sports day was held at Bedford International Athletics Stadium which had been hired for the day. Sadly I was behind the spectator barriers so couldn't get the head on shot that the offical photographer managed.
Henry had taken an early lead in the triple jump (they jumped from a standing start rather than with a run up) but had been overtaken by a jump of 4.05m. By the time of this, his final jump, the leading jump was extended to 4.08m. This was the determined launch in his attempt to regain the lead, and as the final jumper win the competition. The current leader can be seen kneeling down with his hands in a praying position.
