Irish summer:

It's middle of June and today an orange warning has been issued for heavy downpour, hail and thunderstorms to be expected. I guess this is just the foreplay, waiting for the rest of it.

An upcoming closure of the Main South Line over the weekend prompted SSR to transfer some motive power from South West NSW towards Sydney for other work, which resulted in this very impressive combination.

The huge power line up of C509, 44206, 44204, BRM001, RL301, RL302 and RL305 works 3242 loaded grain from Hillston to Maldon away from Gunning in some superb morning light.
