The stamen of this flower look like eye lashes!

Dappled light shines on the center of an orange Day Lilly. This view looks directly into the center of the flower to focus on the long stamen rising up. The contrasty light also shows off the texture of the petals well.

Just another fun eye macro. I suppose hazel is a form of heterochromia? Some of the green radiates out more than other bits... I'm guessing this is a lot more common than one might realize.

These long lashes look dangerous! :-)
