Geïnspireerd door mijn zoon die zit te spelen met zijn Lego, altijd zo verdiept in zijn spel dat hij nauwelijks in de gaten heeft dat ik hem fotografeer.
Inspired by my son while he is playing. As always focussed on his toys, so he barely notices me taking pictures of him.

Used by Airwork's FRADU - Fleet Requirements And Directional Unit based at Hurn she was eventually retired and spent time with the School of aircraft handling at RNAS Culdrose.
Acquired for preservation by SWAPS at Lasham, she is seen there in early 1986 but after that organisation folded, in 2009 she went to the Classic Air Force collection at Newquay.
Check out a potted history of her on their site here:

A regular re-visit to Moss Bay for Wednesday evening's 6C46.
The top of the old steel-works slag-bank is a great spot from which to phot' this working as;
1) The train can be seen coming from way along the coast, and
2) The sun has an uninterrupted path to the rails.
On this occasion Class 37s Nos.37604 & 37602 were tasked with hauling Nos.47802 & 20309 to Carlisle Kingmoor DRS for maintenance.
Tail-end Charlie was a single PFA wagon tagged on for the ride.

He has the most beautiful dark long lashes. I'm jealous :)
Still shooting in manual, don't think I will ever go back to semi-auto.
this picture captured her colors better than the pic before. not easy for me to find her colors right, cause my monitor is not calibrated well
Sarah wanted a shot where I focused in on her eye lashes, since she has pretty substantial lashes. Tried to use the shallow depth of field to my advantage - I think it turned out pretty cool.
Strobist:
2xYN560 speedlights. One in a 36" umbrella, high camera left and a 28" westcott apollo softbox below that in a semi-clamshell setup. Bottom light was a couple stops lower in terms of power. Also, a silver reflector was added, camera right to add a little fill to Sarah and the white background. Fired by Cactus v5s
my self-made feather lashes i used for one photoshoot. (guinea fowl and cock feathers)
it's my eye this time :) (and the lashes were just not sticking to my eye. so sorry for the off-standing lashes on the right)
