I took a notion to add a bit of fun to an old lampshade, using pieces left over from an old project.
I think the buttons and beads add a little something!
These interesting spiders were in webs at the base of a cliff virtually covered in poison ivy. They were identified as this species by experts on this field trip, see discussion here:
bugguide.net/node/view/212891/
Location is somewhat approximate--my notes say it was at the Old Sugarlands Trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
One or more of these will be added to the Arachtober group as the rules permit.

354 Hello everybody! I´ve been away working on my virtual store and waiting for the new dropper. Now i´m using the dropper of the StopShot kit with my infrared system. I finally got the lampshade shape to celebrate the arrival of the StopShot.
Playing with post-processing, trying to get some 'light' come out of this (it was shot with the lamp off)

What can be more nightmarish than having ur camera breakdown on some exotic and serene location. This was what exactly happened to me on my Andaman tour. A old cellphone camera click and therefore not good details to see..

01/52: Pattern
Apologies to the 52 Photos - 2016 group if I'm breaking the rules, but I want to play catch up, so I'm submitting my first of fifty-two.
Using the Hipstamatic app, the second exposure simulates double exposure with film photography. More details appear in the shadows of the first exposure.
