Spotted this in a National Trust house, got to be the COOLEST Lampshade I have ever seen!
The patterns projected onto the ceiling were awesome!
Lucky Strike Lanes in Philadelphia has amazing lighting....creates an awesome mood day or night....even if you stick at bowling like I do.
These interesting spiders were in webs at the base of a cliff virtually covered in poison ivy. Here you see one in its lampshade-shaped web. They were identified as this species by experts on this field trip, see discussion here:

Location is somewhat approximate--my notes say it was at the Old Sugarlands Trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
