Just found this in my archives. Took this a few years ago at 'shadowplay's' house on whidbey island.
Dug out an old copperfoiled lampshade I made about 16yrs ago. Waved lights at it. Ha. That'll teach it to make me feel old.
Care is taken on Tybee Island to prevent artificial light from disrupting sea turtles who nest on local beaches. Light will deter the female turtles from nesting and can disorient females and their hatchlings when attempting to return to the sea.
A geometric shape reminiscent of a lampshade. It would look nice on a lamp foot or with an LED candle positioned inside it. Folded from 8 sheets of paper.
Mom gave me this year many years ago. I am passing on many of her things. But with each, I am taking time to remember all the good. 117/365
I wired keys onto an old lampshade frame. The shade makes cool shadows on the wall behind it.
