Traditional Lamps lit at Indian Homes

Auf dem Tollwood habe ich einen jungen Mann aus Frankreich getroffen, der macht aus Papier faszinierende Lampen. Ich zeig' euch ein paar davon....

 

At the Tollwood/Munich I met a young man from France. He did fascinating lamps out of paper. I will show you some of them....

Now Electric Powered. However, from when I was a kid I remember the 'gas-lamp man' lighting and shtting off the gas lamps on our street!

This lamp is near the window from wich I took the nocturne. A nice compo and a camera at hand; this is the result.

Ever since starting this picture a day thing, I have on few occasions come up against the end of the day with no picture. This was one of those days. I searched around the house and landed on the light produced by this small table lamp.

SUMO designed this lamp for the measure gathering in T.O.

The center's pins are old and about to be replaced, so I've been pulling the more-polished turds and re purposing them into lamps since I have nothing better to do.

 

Anyone wants one cheap just give me a shout. I've got several drilled and ready to be put together!

Pair of Van Teal lamps. Gold leaf shades on metal and lucite base. Lamps are tri-lites. See internet for more description. These are handmade lamps from the U.S. In good to fair condition, see spots.

I didn't get chance to take any new lamp posts shots this week but luckily I found this one in my archives :)

This was part of the series that led up to the knitted umbrella. Experimenting with materials.
