Old Knowledge:

I used the auto tone and color first then played with an exposure adjustment layer. After that I removed the lanyard and the line on the wall.

New Knowledge:

I removed the stray "hairs" off the shirt using the spot healing tool, I also used the spot heal to help the bags under the eyes. Finally I used a smart filter to liquify the biceps to give them more shape.

So this is going to take some explaining. The kitty is watching for birds to light on the feeder. The feeder is framed by crack-and-peel copper -- an experiment to see if it's true that slugs create an rather unpleasant chemical reaction when they crawl over it. If it fails, the slugs will come out after 10 pm and devour all the birdseed. Honest.

 

So the message is that there is so much to know about the world and everything in it and how it all works together. And I feel overwhelmed by it all and disappointed that I can only learn such an infinitesimal part of it.

With a mission to give the little Prideens a healthy dose of knowledge about vitamins & minerals, Mother's Pride recently celebrated Fruits &Vegetables Week. Children were indulged in interesting activities to give them a deep understanding about different common fruits &vegetables found in the lap of mother nature. They learnt about different tastes & colours of these fruits & vegetables so that they can quickly & appropriately recognize them always. It was a fun-filled week for these young prideens!

The Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI), in cooperation with the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) and co-funded by the European Commission through the NHRI.EU project, hosted its Annual Meeting from 10 to 12 March at the Palais des Nations, in Geneva.

 

The GANHRI Annual Meeting brought together National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) from across the globe, coinciding with the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council.

 

The meeting featured the Annual Conference on "The Human Rights of Women and Girls: Promoting Gender Equality," and included the GANHRI Bureau meeting, the General Assembly, and Knowledge Exchanges.

Common Knowledge collaborated with Bureau Europa. For the edition 9 we have invited Jeroen Laven of Stipo, for a lecture on urban development, social-spatial strategy and how creative are the driving force behind the new economy.

Afterwards a dialogue focused on the City of Maastricht raised interesting topics and needs.
