Feeling a little out of sorts, Mr Fox spent much of this morning pacing around thinking about which engineering project to set upon next. On his fourth lap around the living floor, he heard some suspicious sounding rustles and what sounded like hushed voices. His ears pricking up, he prowled stealthily over to the source of the noise and found his polar bear and Knut carrying piles of toilet rolls.
Mrs PB wasn't exactly cooperative upon questioning but it didn't take long for him to put two and two together - Mrs PB was trading the Land of the Bed's emergency toilet roll reserve for beans!
Mrs PB fInally admitted that something of that sort may, potentially, sort of, be happening - but protested herself as entirely innocent.
Knowing from experience that where beans are involved, Mrs PB had split loyalties, Mr Fox supervised her returning the cargo to its rightful home.
A quick google search turns up some information about a workplace safety film involving a yellow flag and this same catchphrase. I still don't know what kind of workplace this may have been though.

We went to Shanghai for a swim meet last Saturday. Tia had fun coming home with places in three of her races. She is getting much better.
This is one of those other tough things that no one talks about - when to say ‘no’ in creativity.

Years ago I said ‘yes’ to everything. When you get started on creative flow, that’s what you do.
Now I’ve quit more times than I can remember. And the funny thing is - my success rate on projects has gone up.
Unlike a lot of the most successful entrepreneurs - Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Steve Jobs - I actually did well in school. In fact, getting good grades came easy - until it got hard.
Imagine my shock when I got my first ‘F’ as an engineering undergrad after getting straight A’s all through high school.
Shaken I asked my academic advisor what I could do. I thought he’d tell me to study smarter or some other generic advice. Instead he was frank and told me that I was trying to do too much.
“One of the main things you’re going to have to learn is to quit,” my advisor said. “Not everything is going to get done - maybe today it’s your laundry, maybe tomorrow it’s a set of homework problems. Only you can decide what you can afford to not do so that what you need to do gets done.”
It took a while for it to sink in. Stubbornly I tried harder to cram more into that daily planner. But no matter what I did, I always ended up in the same place - needing to cut back.
Eventually, I learned about the teachings of Stephen Covey in The 7 Habit of Highly Effective People. The most profound lesson for me was the idea that unless we choose the Big Rocks of our lives, the Little Rocks will take up all our time buckets.
I love the analogy that Liz Gilbert shares with one of her callers on her new Magic Lessons podcast - that if we treat our creativity as an illicit affair, we’ll find the time.
Knowing which ones are the Big Rocks of our lives isn’t easy. But unless you say ‘no’ to the Little ones, you’ll never have a chance to find out!

I don't like the uncertainty about the colour correction in my current shots as I am working with a colour distorted screen. Hope it all looks ok...
February 27, 2018 - Pacific white sided Dolphins Capture – Taiji, Japan
Taiji: The amount of brutally and suffering endured by 10 Pacific white sided dolphins defies description. Please scroll through each photo but know the suffering went beyond what is seen here.
10 Pacific white sided dolphins lost their freedom today. They join the 11 who were previously captured, bringing the total to 21. Their fierce devotion to each other has been their downfall over the past 9 days. Dolphins never abandon their pod mates. The hunters used this to their advantage, knowing that once they captured a few, the others would stay in the area. After unsuccessfully attempting to capture the entire pod, the hunters changed tactics. As the dolphins split into smaller groups, instead of a few boats pursuing each group, the entire fleet focused on one small group. While others escaped, the hunters successfully netted the chosen group, knowing that the others would still be here the next day. The capture process was brutal as large numbers of divers leaped on and wrestled the dolphins to the skiffs where a net was dropped and the dolphins were forcibly hoisted into the skiff. The dolphins thrashed violently, their last fight for freedom, as they were captured and taken to the harbor pen. Before each dolphin was dumped in the pen, it was sexed and measured by awaiting trainers. The process was brutal and several dolphins were seen with bleeding wounds. A mother and calf are believed to be among the group. When it was over, 10 stressed and agitated dolphins could be seen swimming back and forth in the small harbor pen. Chosen for their intelligence and beauty, these dolphins had their lives destroyed today. As long as people are amused and entertained by dolphin shows, these violent captures will continue. Please say “no”
to the dolphin show. The only show worth seeing is in the ocean where they are wild and free, as they are meant to be.

Mourning Dove Aug 2011
At sunrise this morning I went to Virginia Airport where I met up with some old friends and SA Police colleagues.
It was humbling to watch the teams from afar as Cape Town gearing up for the day, knowing that they had recently lost a member and now had to go out again and risk their lives.
There were already four call-out emergencies and the first helicopter / vehicle hadn’t even left for the day.
I was told about private and other volunteers present, some who had taken vacation leave from their “normal” day jobs to help out with the search and rescue missions.
Real heroes in action!
I know the world is endless. I know because I feel this endlessness. Yet each time I experience this endlessness, I am bewildered, filled with wonder.
The world is endless and contains infinite number of existence, experiences…
crows enjoying lawns
sparrows carrying bread pieces bigger than themselves
a mother cat and her babies climbing to the tree
the freshness of rain-full oleander flowers within my palm
the light-lightest-blue towards the west sky and the dark clouds towards the east sky
tinkles of dried erguvan (Judas tree) seed pods in the wind
the wind in my hair
the big, biggest gazes of stray dogs
the last poem I wrote on my lips
the wind in my ear, and the rustling of leaves in the wind
how the last tree trunk I caressed walked with me…with me within my palm
and this little bush with her amazing colors and sweet scented tiny flowers
Soon the rains will begin… and all the weeds dried during summer will green.
We will have a Spring at the beginning of Autumn. Isn’t that amazing?

The genuineness of self is the knowing of interconnectedness, not the idea of interconnectedness, but the knowing. This is what I have expressed from the onset of this forum that a significant aspect of this shift was and is to move you each into the state of being of remembrance. And I have expressed many times, remembrance is not memory, it is a state of being, it is a knowingness. That knowingness is the genuine recognition that you are not separate. Elias - 2833

I must confess to knowing very little about trams.
However seen in all its Edwardian magnificance is this Blackpool tram.
If anyone out there knowns more about this beautiful vehicle, don't be shy, contribute.
Part of a set / album of images relating to an Apple Maps Look Around Street View pedestrian photographer with image harvesting backpack tech. I photographed him a few years ago. The Apple Look Around (Google Street View equivalent) images were exclusive to their iPhone Map App, but are now available on the web, indirectly via duckduckgo.com/ maps for example. And so now I can see myself! My camera phone was a distinctive yellow Poco phone back at 12:09 p.m. on 12th May 2022. My blue tobacco tin is just visible.
