Trying to take old tiles off plasterboard is not easy. Someone suggested using steam. It is still not easy but at least I'm getting them off now without completely destroying the wall.
...Oh, and just in case you think I'm confused... i realise that Peter is singing about steam in an entirely different context.
3rd attempt: I know have 2 looking at me, but one is not smiling. The third is off somewhere in Care bear land.
Every single Chritmas I make the kids sit in front of the tree and I take a photo of them. My hubby's parents did this with them, so we are carrying on the tradition. This was the best attempt I got. I was not tempting my fate and going for a 4th.
This is what my christmas joys are all about. I don't need anything else for christmas. Looking at their faces on christmas morning is enough for me.

The Scottish Parliament's Public Petitions Committee went to Jedburgh to hear from various petitioners in the Borders. Among them was Jesse Rae, who had submitted a petition about bankruptcy law (having nearly gone bankrupt himself), and addressed the committee in his full stage costume.
After the meeting, I threw parliamentary decorum to the wind and accosted the Borders superstar, who let me hold his broadsword.

This is the only model I know that was fixed with staples on the cardboard.
All the other outfits have flaps (hope it is the correct word) or holes where belts turn around and where knotted in front or on the back.
The leather bags I posted, they also were fixed at the cardboard with staples. Yoy can find a pic in their references.
Such a mistery! I mean, I don't think that the completely open coat looks so good in the box!

What do you know, a Ryko machine with 5 brushes! Quite rare in Australia nowadays.
This blue Premier Plus was installed in 2009, replacing an older, unknown car wash. Only two wash options are available, an $11 AUD wash and a $15 AUD wash. Wash quality was excellent! My only complaints are that the wash left some water spots and the back of my car was still quite wet after the drying.

I went down to the bay for some sunset shots last night. Underneath one of the lookouts someone had stapled white flowers.

A family in North Carolina got a surprise as they were trying to bake a pizza in the oven recently. There was a snake in their oven that got cooked along with the pizza. It measured about 18-inches long and they are unsure how it gained access inside. Snakes can get into homes in various different ways, so it is important to periodically check the perimeter of your home for any cracks, open vents or holes.

A snake ruined a North Carolina family’s plans to have an “easy dinner” Monday night.
Amber Helm said she and her husband Robert had preheated the oven in their Wake Forest home and popped in a frozen pizza.

I don't know the date of this, but I presume it is between 1910 and 1920. He was the youngest serving officer in the Merchant Navy.
I realise were I get my love of ships and sea. He visited Rio De Janeiro a lot and it's one of the places I have visited. He must have been a fairly laid back cool person, as he is the one with jacket wide open and hands in pockets.
