Now with the launch of the Wii, Nintendo has cemented itself as one of the most progressive videogame makers in the industry. It's awesome. Pure awesomeness. Seriously can't wait to finish exams, so i can go home and acquire one :D

Sea otter floating peacefully in a refuge of tangled kelp. The sea otter, a keystone species for the health of the nearshore marine ecosystem in the Pacific Northwest, feeds on sea urchins. Unchecked, the sea urchins would eat up the habitat’s kelp (giant seaweed), which captures CO2 and is a major source of food and shelter in the ecosystem. Sea otters often eat, rest, and sleep together while floating in groups called rafts – a raft may have a few otters or hundreds. When at the surface, it usually floats on its back and moves by sculling its feet and tail from side to side. At rest, all four limbs can be folded onto the torso to conserve heat; on hot days, the hind feet may be held underwater for cooling. The sea otter's body is highly buoyant because of its large lung capacity and the air trapped in its fur. To keep from drifting out to sea when resting and eating, sea otters may wrap themselves in kelp. The sea otter was hunted to near extinction in the 19th century. Today the species is protected under the Endangered Species Act & Marine Mammal Protection Act.
I know it says it was taken on the 13th, but trust me, I took it today!!! Just a little too early for my camera to understand I guess.
I have a concert today, so I decided to get the SP over with early. In my pajamas still, and squinting into the sun. I got so many shots where I looked like I was about to sneeze because the sun was so bright. But I finally got it!!!
But I do think the stripes make my nose look a lot longer than it really is...

Did you know malnutrition prevents many Lao children from growing properly? The good news is that the stunting rate among children under five dropped from 44% to 33% in the last five years – now that’s progress! The US is working with the Government of Laos to continue that progress. Last week, a Lao and US delegation, led by Vice Minister of Health H.E. Mr. Khamphone Phouthavong, visited the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) in Vietnam ahead of the anticipated launch of a similar nutrition institute in Laos. The delegation visited more than 15 facilities to learn and observe how the institute operates. The trip was made possible with funding from USAID, and provided a useful exchange of information which will support the establishment of the new NIN in Laos. Things I Know to be True, by Andrew Bovell
Things I Know to be True is a beautifully written drama centring on the lives of a family over the period of a year, poignantly presented through the seasons. It is described as a “complex and intense portrait of the mechanics of a family – and a marriage –through the eyes of four siblings struggling to define themselves beyond their parents’ love and expectations”.

I like how I amped up the brightness so much & you can still see the dark circles under my eyes, vividly. ahah.

A couple that I got to know for a couple of months, we became friends over these months.
The pretty bride has known a lot of photographer in Singapore, it’s my truly my pleasure to be chosen as a photographer for the biggest day of her life.
They were charming, loving and pretty all day long, I had never been tired taking photos of them,
and they even had prepared meals for us who making this day happens.
As a wedding photographer, I always want to get closer to the couple before the actual event comes, get to know their needs, their likes, and always try to create the chemistry with the couple and the beloved friends around them. I want them to feel comfortable on the wedding day, during the photo sessions especially. For that, I always go for extra miles beyond I had promised on the paper.
I always work on my assignment with all my heart, I never treat it just to complete my job.
Apart from God’s grace and blessing, I believe this is why I am able to be where I am.
It was really a great day to witness their moments.
A big congratulations to Thaw Zin & Win Lei,
and wish you all have a lovely family and a happy life together.

If you know it or had used it, you must be a long time camera man. It is a film loader made by a Japanese enlarger manufacturer " LPL ".
I bought it in 1975, by that time, most photographer shot BW. Color film was still expensive. So for the international Salon Contest, 3/4 were BW and 1/4 were color prints and unknown percentage were slide.
The most popular BW film were Kodak from USA, Ilford from England, Agfa from Germany and Fuji from Janpan.
I used to buy the 100 feet Kodak " Plus X-135 " BW film and made 20 rolls and I even sold some of them to my camera friends cheaper than market price. I had already forgot that there is still a film inside. And it has been at least 22 years old. So I can call it an antique film !
