Zaitoun, Gaza Strip. Hoda Tafesh received essential household items such as mattresses, blankets, a hygiene kit and kitchenware from the ICRC and the PRCS. Her house was damaged when a missile landed on an empty plot next to her house. The tin roof collapsed, killing her 10-month-old granddaughter. “We are thankful for the aid we’ve received, but our happiness will not be complete without our baby girl,” she said.

An attractive and vintage onion pot made by Price & Kensington Potteries Ltd (P&K), also glazed in "Beautiful Browns". P&K also made a range of novelty kitchenware in the shape of various vegetables.

Price & Kensington Potteries Ltd (P&K) were formed in 1962 from the amalgamation of Price Bros. (Burslem) Ltd and Kensington Pottery Ltd. In 2003, P&K went into administration due to financial difficulties and were bought over by Rayware, a houseware importer. Rayware immediately exported production of P&K products to Asia. Production of P&K kitchenware was continued by Rayware in Asia but the quality was never as good as the original P&K products.
