Identity and packaging creation for premium bakeware range with silicone non-stick surface. Delivers results a pastry chef would be proud of. That's bakingenius!
I fell in love with this but didn't buy it, I went home and told my husband how gorgeous it was and how much I loved it and he took me the next day to buy it all for me :) I love him!!!
As with every move, I'm prioritizing the bookshelves. Now, thanks to inadequate cabinetry and a tall toddler, we have to accommodate some kitchenware, too.

This darling set was made by PY/Miyao and distributed by Enesco. In addition to my pieces, there is also a teabag holder, and possibly others.
Look what twin72 surprised me with today!! LOVE this piece! Isn't it pretty? :)
Thank you dear, such a fun day!

I have not been able to find any good references online for dating vintage Le Creuset cookware. So I decided it would not hurt to post my own photos as references.
Two of the pans here I acquired new, so I know exactly how old they are. The others are from thrift stores, but I have guesses as to their ages based on various information I've found online.
If anyone else has info to add about identifying old vintage Le Creuset, please add it!
Please note: If your Le Creuset has the three concentric ring logo, it dates to NO EARLIER than 1972, which was the first use of that logo according to their trademark application.
From top, clockwise:
1. Pan (Flame) of undetermined age, possibly 1960s or 1970s. No logo on lid knob. Round hanging loop. Cream glaze on inside of lid. Glaze on base, and glaze on lip. Pour spout.
2. Pan (Cherry Red), purchased new in 2009. 1972 logo on lid knob. Name "Le Creuset" and concentric circles on top of lid itself. Round hanging loop. Black phenolic handle. Cream glaze on inside of lid. Glaze on base, No glaze on lip. No pour spout. Pan curves near top and at base. Tab with "Le Creuset" on top. "Precision Pour" design.
3. Pan (Cobalt), purchased new in 1990. 1972 logo on lid knob. Round hanging loop. Cream glaze on inside of lid. No glaze on base, and no glaze on lip. Pour spout. Size in circle on base. Cobalt color without gradations, unlike later pans.
4. Pan (Flame), probably 1950s-early 1960s. No logo on lid knob. Lid knob very narrow Bakelite with point on top. Triangular hanging loop. Orange glaze on inside of lid. Glaze on base, and glaze on lip. Pour spout. Size in diamond on base.

This is one of those shop fronts that bring you back to past times. Located on Latoneros St., only metres away from Plaza Mayor, this old shop sells all kind of wickerwork furniture, baskets and kitchenware.
I did a review for Kitchenware Direct about their Baker's Secret hanging cookie cutters, Bodum Pavina double-wall glasses and Bodum Latte Milk Frother. I made Belgian hot chocolate for two, a hanging chocolate heart and Tim Tam Cupcake Pops.

It is many years since I drank leaf tea. This may have been used last year when my friend from Canberra was staying with me. I don't remember where I got it from but most likely it was a charity shop/market find.
I found these two gorgeous Le Creuset pans at Goodwill yesterday. Total cost: $20.
The plans are in the Flame color, though you can see that one of them is more "flamey" than the other.
One pan has a triangular hanging loop and a smaller Bakelite lid handle. It is orange inside the lid, NOT cream colored. The other has a round loop and the inside of the lid is cream.
Both are glazed on the base and on the lip of the pan. Both have scorch marks on the bottom of the handle. One of them is still usable even with the scorch. The other needs the wood replaced.
I cannot find any references for exact ages, but I have found two pans online that are exactly the same as the one with the triangle loop. Both of those are dated to 1956-1963.
I think the other one, with the round loop, is newer than that -- not sure how new, though.

This is the tiniest (and I think cutest) piece in the whole Norcrest cat set. Eggcup is 2 3/4" high and has a hollow space in its wide "egg head" to hold your soft boiled egg! The bottom of the cup is hollow as well, and has no CT-* number like the rest of the pieces in the series.
This particular series was made by the PY/Miyao factory in the late 1950s/early 1960s and was distributed by Norcrest.
Namdaemun market is the biggest market in Korea spread over a number of streets in the Jung-gu district of Seoul. Found between Sungnyemun Gate and Myeong-dong, Namdaemun is a great place for shopping where you can find practically anything on the streets here, whether it is clothes, food, kitchenware, glasses, stationery or Lacquer ware. Opened in 1964 Namdaemun market is a fun place to stroll among the stalls and shop or people watch.

Love the little kitty measuring spoons! The kitty paws are supposed to hold plates, but I wanted to show its face.

No - this isn't Lefton's Miss Priss, it is a PY cat cookie jar! Who knew? I have NEVER seen this piece before (nor have I ever seen an animal cookie jar marked PY) and was thrilled to win it on Ebay! Jar was probably one of their later ones made in 1960-1961 and may be one of a kind. Cat is marked PY and has original Coronet sticker attached. Best of all, it is in near mint condition! I can't believe it is mine :)
If you own or have seen any other animal jars or dishware marked PY - I would LOVE to hear about them!

Taking a brief diversion from the grocery aisles, here’s a shot across the actionway looking over at the home improvement department – complete with new light-up P22 department sign! There’s also another of those photo feature posters here, this one including some paint, tape, and a lightbulb. Target has used this style of poster for many, many years now, but I have to say, I’m particularly liking this latest iteration – I love how all the colors interact so well between all the different images. (Not that they didn’t before, but still…)

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
This is my favorite shop in this mall .... Mr. DIY - Do - IT - Yourself ..... tools of course, but also stationery, household goods, gifts, computer accessories, kitchenware well almost everything for the house .....
Island Plaza used to be an upmarket shopping mall in Tanjong Tokong. The first and a relatively small mall in the state Penang! It comprises a podium block and an office block. The anchor tenant for the mall used to be Metrojaya, which operated the department store. However many tenants boarded their stores - so did Metrojaya..... It is sad to see this mall just not quite making it any more... so many new malls opening up.... However they are renovating and at the Lower Basement level is a nice Cold Storage Supermarket and on the top level a 3D Cineplex

One of my birthday presents was a Friendship casserole set :) We found it at an antique shop in Medina when I was home on spring break!

These are my four favourite knives. Apart from a bread knife and a carving knife, these are the ones that I use 99% of the time in the kitchen, even if the kitchen is in the middle of the outback. The scratch marks are caused by the diamond "steel" that I use. I have tried lots of other knives for kitchen work, but I always come back to these ones.
