It's been 6 years since I last had a baby/kit. Mordechai is relentless and has so much energy and lasts for an easy 2 hours. He's the polar opposite compared to Starscream's mellowness.

Everybody needs a BLIFNAR (Blinky Light For No Apparant Reason). In this case, this ATTiny45-based kit has some clever software PWM ported through Arduino to make a simple and easy-to-build blinky. We're also using it with the 6-pin ISP and GVS breakout line for some rapid prototyping applications.

So happy to put this one on the shelf for awhile.... I got another 50mm 1.8! This is the first photo I took with it.
Budgie Wolseley Six-Eighty police car. Recently produced re-issue in kit form by D.G. Models. These late versions are also sold under the Promod name, and I've seen built-up versions as Police, Doctor's Car, Fire, and even a taxi version in yellow, but still complete with the two spotlights on the roof!
The original Morestone / 'A Modern Product' version of this had a different arrangement of roof fixtures, twin speaker horns fixed to one hole at the centre front, and an aerial in a hole centre rear. The base was marked 'Wolseley Six-Eighty' and 'Made in England' only. The later Budgie branded version gained the boot sign seen on this reissue, but had the same original roof fixtures, and the base was amended to read 'Wolseley Police Car' and 'Budgie Toys' with 'Made in England' moved to the front of the baseplate. This one has what is basically the Budgie base, but with 'Police Patrol Car' in place of 'Wolseley Police Car' and also has 'Oil' on the sump and dif. with arrows pointing at the stub axles.
There is also a smaller Morestone / Budgie version of this which came in black, red and green.
Anyone interested in models of emergency services vehicles may also like to know about a book from Amberley Publishing entitled 'Blue Light Models, a History and Collector's Guide'.
Director of the KITS college Mr Bhaskar Patil, Dr Kambde of Govt Medical College and President Tauby inaugurated the camp. The huge gymnasium was full within minutes with staff and student donors. The camp collected 286 units which makes it one of the biggest camps till date.

Spartan Cars was a manufacturer of kit cars based in Pinxton, Derbyshire, United Kingdom, which operated from 1973 to 1995. The company was founded by Jim McIntyre.
Steve Beardsall, who had been the production manager, took over in about 1991 and introduced the Spartan Treka, a Jeep style car, which was based on the Ford Fiesta Mk2. Over 4000 kits were produced and they have been exported to over 23 countries.

All New Scavenger Hunt - ANSH - Round 48 - Scavenger #13 - An emergency kit. A shot of the items you would take with you in the event of a national emergency
Towels, blanket (+ space blanket) groundsheet/tarpaulin/large plastic sheet, sleeping bag, tool kit, torches, lights, candles, matches + extra batteries, drinking water, bucket to collect water & bleach to purify/disinfect. Food (tinned, dried, packets); toilet paper, soap & first aid kit. Cellphone (in case there is a signal!) camera & spare batteries. Notepad & pen & sewing kit. Waterproof jacket & trousers in a bag and a large waterproof plastic bag to put it all in!
I might last out a day or two! :-}
I think this is the first time that I have come to close to not completing a Scavenger Hunt in a very long time! Phew!!
This kit utilizes a gift card tin as a container. The tin is just slightly smaller than a 3.5 x 5.5 Moleskine and about the same thickness.
The 2.25 oz. water bottle is a repurposed liquid acrylics container. It's really useful because when you flip the lid flap open, there is small hole, very useful for directly water into the mini mister this kit contains. If you remove the lid, there is a wide mouth, making brush rinsing easy.
I fitted an extra lid from another tin to the bottom section so that I could have more mixing space. I'm still debating whether to buy white appliance enamel and spray the insides of the lid so that the colors "read" more accurately when mixing.
The tin and sketchbook are held together with an elastic hair band.
