We see nothing but bad news everyday on the news. The man with the tire stopped to help the older fellow that had a blowout. There are many wonderful people doing good things every day.

"Hands"
If I could tell the world just one thing
It would be that we're all OK
And not to worry 'cause worry is wasteful
And useless in times like these
I won't be made useless
I won't be idle with despair
I will gather myself around my faith
For light does the darkness most fear
My hands are small, I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken
Poverty stole your golden shoes
It didn't steal your laughter
And heartache came to visit me
But I knew it wasn't ever after
We'll fight, not out of spite
For someone must stand up for what's right
'Cause where there's a man who has no voice
There ours shall go singing
My hands are small I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
I am never broken
In the end only kindness matters
In the end only kindness matters
I will get down on my knees, and I will pray
I will get down on my knees, and I will pray
I will get down on my knees, and I will pray
My hands are small I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken
My hands are small I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken
We are never broken
We are God's eyes
God's hands
God's mind
We are God's eyes
God's hands
God's heart
We are God's eyes
God's hands
God's eyes
We are God's hands
We are God's hands

I have many Buddhas in my house - to me, they represent calmness, kindness, stillness, love. Hope at the end of the day. They are all small in size but large in every other way ...
Hello dear flickr friends.
Many thanks as always for your wonderful comments and the kindness of your support. I hope you find these pigeon as sweet and adorable as I do.
Wishing you a very happy Friday and weekend ahead. : ) xo
The radical kindness of God leaves me in awe as I sit in wonder at why would a Holy and Righteous God chose to show such immeasurable kindness to me! There were several difficult trials that surrounded this event, but this was a blessed relief in the middle of them. He knows exactly when we need this and He is generous to provide them. May we never cease to thank Him for his crazy lovingkindness!
Travelling along the highway, an opportunity poked me in the corner of my eye. "Turn around", my wife said as I looked for a safe place to turn the car. We noticed a safe place to park and after doing so, out I jumped with camera in hand. No time for a tripod, the sun was almost down and colors would not appear in the sky. However, it was someone's property making it necessary to be slightly surreptitious.
I lined up what would make my final shot and then made my way back to the car. It had only been about 10 minutes but the owners had returned home. And as luck would have it, the short safe place to park meant our car was almost blocking the way toward their driveway. Kindness was the word of the day though. After apologizing for nearly blocking their way they kindly quipped, "no problem". Then added, “it is a gorgeous view from the backyard” and were willing to share.
Whomever they are, thank you.
This gentleman supported his family taking pictures of tourists using film cameras in Davao City, The Philippines. He is one of the three photographers I featured earlier in a group shot.
Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.

I don't know the girl... probably inside it's warm, outside it's frost I'm sure ... she returned a smile from a distance... I wish you all of us more warmth and sincere kindness in the coming year.
If you like anything on my photos, I'm very pleased... just share your kindness, I'm grateful in advance for your views, likes and comments... a lot of thanks :)
I always find it interesting how fast people are ready to eat each other up like vultures when another person fails (or just in general). If we practiced kindness & love just as often we would live almost in a perfect world. I will not be a hypocrite and will admit I can have my moments. But I’m just hormonal not spiteful.

“Axe of Kindness” - I’d been wanting to photograph this truck for a long time, as I pass by it every trip to Salida. I finally squeezed onto the shoulder of Highway 285 near the summit of Poncha Pass and took some shots. I didn’t notice what the side of the truck door said until I got home and expanded the Image which is a sticker saying “Axe of Kindness”. There appears to be much symbolism around the saying.
The front door of a gentleman's terraced house opened pretty much straight onto the pavement, which is where we were standing. This was the display in his tiny front 'garden'. But wait, there is more!
Adjacent, but out of sight in this photo, a cardboard box offered free vegetables from his vegetable patch. On this particular day there was a marrow and runner beans. We were grateful to take two helpings of runner beans. However, as were about to walk on, he opened the front door and gave us at least six times as many runner beans that he had just picked. So not only did we enjoy the fruits of his labour and kindness but so did several of our neighbours to whom they were later distributed.
What counts to this old teacher is kindness. He has seen it all (or most of it), he got his share in terms of life's troubles. He is sometimes surprised that life can also be good to him. And he is very attentive when kindness is around.
Simple acts of Kindness. Now more than ever, people and communities need our help. Reach out to donate or volunteer your time. A little can make a BIG difference. #deerfieldbeach #staystrongdfb #feedingsouthflorida
When I do self-portraits I usually use myself as a medium in order to get across a feeling, an expression, or a state of mind. Photographically speaking, I would not be kind to myself. However, if I am kind to myself (using some of the more flattering options of post-processing) I could look like this. It is the best I could do. I am just not sure whether all I have achieved is a nice passport photo.

Day 7 ~
My friend the Cuban Tody is quite perplexed. He experiences weather, and day to day happenings, like so many others. But he is not out there hating, and berating. It's just not in his makeup.
He wonders, why can't every being be nice?
.............................................................................................................
