Architects Nigel Bertram and Marika Neustupny and a team of architecture students are visiting ArtPlay, working with children to build an installation of shelters for kind moments.

ArtPlay is owned and operated by the City of Melbourne. It is Australia’s only arts centre especially for children up to the age of 13. The centre is located at Birrarung Marr, behind Federation Square.

This was an installation of balloons bearing the word kind- every participant was inviting to write a label to a stranger- the balloons were then handed on- the ida was to encourage connection and kindness. Since 2013 when I first started this, I have learned a lot bout how harmful to the environment plastic balloons are- but I hope the messages and the writing of them still did some good.

On 28 November 2024, ESCP Business School London Campus hosted an inaugural lecture to honour the appointment of Professor Argyro Avgoustaki to the position of Full Professor. This event marked a significant milestone in Professor Avgoustaki’s academic journey and offered insight into her research, personal reflections, and vision for the future.
The night was opened by Professor Pramuan Bunkawanicha, Dean of Faculty at ESCP Business School, who warmly celebrated Prof Avgoustaki’s dedication and expertise. He highlighted her exemplary leadership as Head of Research at the London Campus and her pivotal role in advancing the School’s academic reputation in the field of human resource management.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt tribute by Professor Daniela Lup, a colleague and Head of Faculty at ESCP London Campus when Prof Avgoustaki’s full professorship was awarded. Daniela praised Prof Avgoustaki for her hard work, humility, unwavering support for others, and her willingness to celebrate the achievements of her peers with kindness and generosity.
