Drawings and paintings of rainbows, in support of the NHS (National Health Service) key-workers, have become a common sight around the UK during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
We visited Coombe abbey where they are displaying the “Standing with Giants” installation. Standing with Giants remembers those in the NHS who have given so much over the course of the Covid19 Pandemic. Many key workers paid the ultimate price - for the freedom and benefit of others. The installation consists of 300 figures cut out of recycled building waste. The figures relate to key NHS workers. Whilst we were taken in the emotion of the installation, I met Clive, a volunteer. Clive explained how the installation was arranged and provided us with a white marker so that we could write our own messages of support. I was pleased that Clive consented to having his picture taken. The portrait captures his approachable personality and his positive outlook to the nature of the installation. DB Cargo Class 67, 67028 leads a four loco convoy past Chorlton running as 0Z23 17:21 Wembley European Freight Operations Centre to Crewe Electric Traction Maintenance Depot.
In the consist were Class 92, 92015 - which 67028 had brought up from Dollands Moor to Wembley earlier in the afternoon - and Class 66s, 66186 and 66113. 66113 sports the special "Delivering For Our Key Workers" decals.

Meet Gary - my masked delivery man, classed as a key worker. When I booked my delivery I was given clear instructions what to expect and asked to stand 2 metres away from him whilst he unpacked the shopping.
