Who says landscape photography has to be reality when in miniature it can come from the imagination. From fairies at the bottom of your garden to 'the borrowers' we are obsessed with the fantasy of little people in a
full-sized world. My 'downsizing' project, using model railway figures, food and everyday objects, is merely an
extension of those thoughts.
This particular image a tribute to those out there who are keeping us going through difficult times.

Lothian Buses and its amazing team of drivers are continuing to operate a great service across the city for all the key workers requiring to get to and from work.
A massive round of applause to the Lothian Team for keeping this city moving during the current pandemic hitting the world.
Most operations are currently being operated out of Central Depot so some routes are now seeing some different vehicles.
With our current situation of being allowed one hour of outdoor exercise per day I decided to take my camera with me today to see what was about.

Clear labels on board the trains operated by Transpennine Express to indicate which seats are and aren't available for use to enable the government guidelines to be adhered to. With the only travel permitted being that of "essential journeys only" during the COVID-19 pandemic passenger numbers are so low that the reduced capacity isn't becoming too much of an issue at the moment.

Been away from Flickr for a while due to being a keyworker during lockdown. Roll on next year when I’ll be retired.
Anyway last weekend we had a bit of excitement on our doorstep. With the air ambulance landing on the football field by us. Good for me the photographer not so nice for the lad who broke his leg. Pleased with this one.

The latest class 66 to receive the DB corporate colours is 66113 which has received special branding celebrating Britain's Key Workers which DB has been delivering for throughout the Covid-19 crisis. On this occasion the locomotive has delivered sea dredged aggregate from the terminal at Angerstein Wharf to the Day Aggregates terminal at Woking where it is currently being unloaded. A 12 car class 450 is leading a South Western Railway service over Woking Junction and onto the Portsmouth Direct route.

Keighley Bus Co has upgraded the Keighley-Skipton Dalesway route to double decker, and after a brief interregnum with recycled B7TLs, has introduced ex Burnley & Pendle Witch Way B9TLs in route colours which suit the vehicles far better than the Witch Way monochrome (in my opinion). Here is BF63HDA. The previous Versas have gone to new work, including the new Flyer airport contract in place of the previous Yorkshire Tiger run service.

Otley Bus terminal is fairly unusual for a small facility in having a pilot to assist with the reversing movements for departing vehicles. Presumably this service is provided by First as dominant operator. The pilot is visible in this shot, along with the primitive facilities provided for him under the clock. YJ17FUY has had a makeover from Keighley Jets branding for Otley local work, branded Otley Dash.

A rather weathered GB Railfreight Class 92, 92020 heads through the snow at Hartford with the Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander (1M16). Driver S. Large in the chair keeping the keyworkers moving.
The pan on the icy OHLE created quite a light show as the Dyson powered through the station.
A reduced service was running in response to Covid-19 restrictions, with only one train running in each direction serving Edinburgh and Inverness. The usual services to Glasgow, Aberdeen and Fort William were cancelled.
