we didn't go out for a hike the last few weekends, we had other plans and also do to some maintenance in our backyard.
So this time a few photos from a hike a few weeks ago.
We had a weekend with some nice and warm weather, decided to visit a nature reserve close to home.
Visited Balloërveld and followed one of the available trails.
Used the Canon Eos 1V again, have decided to use the Eos 1V more often and give our Canon Eos 3 bodies some rest and TLC
The 1v was loaded with some (Ilford) Kentmere Pan 100 and used it at EI 200 (ISO)
Developing is as always done with our caffenol recipe, Caffenol-C-L at 22c and stand developing for 55 minutes this time.

I bought a job lot of camera gear and got a Yashica MG-1 Rangefinder in the package. You have to go out and try a new camera (if 1975 is new). Exposure is a mystery on this camera and you are meant to get a yellow or red light to show over and under exposure but my one doesn't light up so every photo is a lucky dip by the look it :)

let's go back to our summer holiday in 2020. We decided to stay in the Netherlands.
We stayed for about two weeks at the Veluwe a large nature reserve area in our country with a lot to offer.
You'll find woodland, forests heath, a few small lakes and Europe's largest sand drifts area.
We did stay at Kootwijk and literally could call Kootwijkerzand our backyard.
Decided to take only two analog cameras with us during our stay at the Veluwe and a few of the older/classic lenses
A Canon Eos 33 and one of our Canon Eos 3 bodies with the Canon EF 17-35 F2.8L, 28-70 F2.8L and the magic drain pipe 80-200 F2.8L were used.
Loaded the Canon Eos 33 with colorfilm and the Canon Eos 3 with black and white film.
These photos were taken with the Canon Eos 3 which was loaded with some fresh (Ilford) Kentmere Pan 100.
Developing was done back at home in the days after returning from the Veluwe.

A few weeks ago we went for a hike close to home.
Because we were not sure about the weather, it did look like it would start to rain, we went for a shorter hike.
We both didn't want to get soaked and wet and the forecast for saturday promised to the best day for a hike that weekend.
Visited a small piece of nature called Frieseveen near Eelde-Paterswolde.
The weather did not disappoint, it was actually a nice day for a hike.
Took again one of our Canon Eos 3 cameras. Loaded with an expired (06-2019) roll ilford Delta 100 first and
Finished that roll first and loaded some fresh Ilford Kentmere Pan 100 next

Remnants of Ramsey's Victorian splendor in the early morning sun. Taken with the 50mm lens on the delightful Kodak Retina iic. The film is Kentmere 100 developed in a batch of Xtol that really was a bit far gone and I should have mixed some fresh, but never mind.
