Beautiful view of the old medieval town of Cardona, with the gothic church of Sant Miquel on top. It was then a rich place due to it's salt mines, the most important in medieval Catalonia.

My Yashica MG-1 has a broken metering system so it only shoots at 1/500th of a second. Shooting a church interior at this shutter speed is not easy but occasionally you get something worthwhile and interesting. Waiting for warmer weather

A couple Thursdays ago we drove down to the Finger Lakes for Corky to replenish her wine stash. It was something of a drab day. I did not take any photographs until we got to Goose Watch Winery, where I always have to say hello to the goose. This is looking from the winery side deck.

A couple Thursdays ago we drove down to the Finger Lakes for Corky to replenish her wine stash. On the way home we stopped at the Victor Town Park and finished the lunch leftovers. There was a pond with a fishing deck. We sat at the picnic table behind it and watched a father and son fishing.

This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is very nice looking, it's the last model of the first generation of their two-seater design, it was redesigned into a four-seater from 1958. Captured with a Voigtlander Vito CLR Deluxe 3rd model, dating back to 1963. All these yesteryears' goodies!

Back to shooting with the Ondu 135 pinhole camera, quite a switch from the huge negatives with the 6x12.

Friday, April 25. Walked trail 7 along the east rim of the river valley. It was a rainy, misty day, about 45F. This photograph looks down toward the landslide area that was the reason for the trail to be rerouted from the old railway bed at the top of the gorge below. Parts of the abandoned railway and canal collapsed into the gorge some decades ago.

I had a few fails were I misjudged the distance and the photos were out of focus and I'm still trying to get used to the framing for the in-between focal distances. Overall, I'm very impressed with the camera and the sharpness of the lens. All of the diptyches were unintentional, which made them more delightful.

After I returned to my car I drove around the sound end of the park to the overlook at the west end of the bridge. Unfortunately, the photographs of the bridge and of the old support got clobbered with a double exposure.
