Plas Machynlleth, known locally as Y Plas and is a mansion situated in the market town of Machynlleth in Powys, Wales. It is the former Welsh residence of the Marquesses of Londonderry. It was brought into the Londonderry family following the 1846 marriage of the then Viscount Seaham (who later became, in March 1854, Earl Vane, and in November 1872, the 5th Marquess of Londonderry) to Mary Cornelia Edwards, who inherited it on the death of her father, Sir John Edwards, in 1850. Sir John had extended and renamed the house. It is a Grade II* listed building.

Part of Tywyns one way system. Testing out an old Canon Sureshot Ace point and shoot camera. It has a small waist level viewfinder which is pretty cool. It's plastic ,also very loud and clunky but the lens is pretty decent. A great point and shoot if you don't mind the fact it's plastic and loud.

St Cadfan's Church (Welsh: Eglwys Cadfan) is situated in Tywyn in the county of Gwynedd, formerly Merionethshire, Wales.

St. Cadfan's Church in Tywyn has its origins in the 6th century, with St. Cadfan establishing a religious community there. The current church structure, however, primarily dates back to the 12th century, with some parts being even older. The nave and aisles are largely from the 12th century, while the roof timbers date to the 13th and 14th centuries. A west tower was added in 1735/7, replacing an earlier one that collapsed in 1692. The bus stop however is pretty modern :)

Another shot from the Exakta 500TL on Kentmere 100, processed in 510 Pyro. This camera is a sort of Japanese made Praktica (Ihagee... it's a long story). This was a Carl Zeiss Jena 50mm with a hint of fungus, but actually not doing too badly. The intense reflections on the water further downstream and deep shadow was probably a lot to ask of Kentmere and the lens, but I was reasonably pleased with the outcome.

An early morning walk, and came across a vintage car blanketed with water droplets. Click here to see another capture of it.
