so i really wanted a way to combine my favorite photos from flickr with my journaling.

i am not the best at getting the daily things down so this is the best way to keep up.

Hi guys! So I thought of trying something new. One of my favorite things in SL used to be teleporting to random sims and exploring around, but I haven't really had the time to enjoy that in so long, so I thought of starting this little project.

Evey once in a while, we're going to go out exploring and map out the most interesting landmarks of a sim, and our first stop is Binemist! There are other levels on the sim to explore with different themes, and more points of interest, so it's worth checking out for yourself.

It's been a while but here are the new designs for this winter season.

spent the day playing into my art journal yesterday.........

Keri Smith book "Wreck This Journal"

My first pages: Fill this page with circles.

I love these journals because they’re meant to depict dreams of the sky, forest, and sea. The color combo is great, as well!

Notebooks from Field Notes, bandana from Wayfaring Wolves (Etsy).

Edinburgh journal of natural history and of the physical sciences.

Edinburgh [etc.] :Published for the proprietor [etc.],1835-1840.

I have been keeping journals, both for art and writing, off and on since 1999. Awhile back, I came across this one with a fancy cover that I kept for a few months in 2001. I looked through some of the pages and memories came back to me.

Most from Gibby Frogett kits, rest from Internet.

The cover was made a few months ago and then the entire journal abandoned - until now!! (9/21)

I was really angry when I started these 2 pages..

I wasn't really thinking at all at the time; just layering & layering like a mofo; playing around with painting.. but I like how it turned out. Also, it's upside-down. I like how the left side looks like mountains, sky & horizon.

A good day to lay in the grass and just write.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. Can you believe it's already the middle of July?!!! I don't want it to go too fast, so the question is, how do we slow it down? For me, I can never seem to slow time down so I try to make it count by spending as much of my free time doing the things I love with the people I love. :-)

Update: I received this wonderful poem from my flickr friend 'jackandphyl' that I would like to share. Thank you for this - I love it!

"Worry take leave,

dreaming step forward.

Summer says, "laziness, please.

Take a few hours, maybe still longer,

But cares to the wind and be free."
