If its cold outside, laundrette's make great places to draw with their comfy seats and warmth from all the machines. I think the woman who works must be used to photographers and drawers coming in as she nonchalantly was like sure on you go.
Though I can't quite figure the place out, it has the look of a place that's been there for ages but so many things about it seem deliberately placed rather than an accumulation of random stuff. The walls are bare plaster, there's picture's by tretchikoff, detergent boxes piled up like Warhol, odd eclectic objects, lots of good things to draw.
Yes, yes, of course… let me explain that one more time. Some days it seems like that is all that I seem to do!

A good day to lay in the grass and just write.
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. Can you believe it's already the middle of July?!!! I don't want it to go too fast, so the question is, how do we slow it down? For me, I can never seem to slow time down so I try to make it count by spending as much of my free time doing the things I love with the people I love. :-)

Update: I received this wonderful poem from my flickr friend 'jackandphyl' that I would like to share. Thank you for this - I love it!
"Worry take leave,
dreaming step forward.
Summer says, "laziness, please.
Take a few hours, maybe still longer,
But cares to the wind and be free."

I started out sketching the ATC border then stopped and sketched the dancer and moon. Then came the drums followed by the ATC design. The journal entry just decided it wanted to be there. hehe
I made a special burial place for Sophie. I still have a few things to do, but I really wanted it to be special and memorable- like she was to me.
In the mornings I have been taking my coffee and standing next to her... talking with her for a bit. I thought this would be easier because I know she is no longer suffering- but as true as that is, that somehow doesn't make it easier on this end.
