The view overlooking the plantations is beautiful and perfect for the picture album.

One fine morning we friends were tried to take some captures from far away of our home. It was a Village area, A masturd field - there is a way. There I tried to take some captures..This is not an Experimental capture my friendz. I have taken it seriously!!! :-) Anyway we run after some peococks there but unable to catch. hahaha...got some Birds there...near to that field. So after all tries we failed to take good captures.Might be wastage of time on that morning.

Sharjah (Arabic: الشارقة) is one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The emirate covers 2,600 km² (1,003 mi²) and has a population of over 800,000 (2008). The emirate of Sharjah comprises the city of Sharjah (the seat of the emirate), and other minor towns and enclaves such as Kalba, Dibba Al-Hisn and Khor Fakkan. Sharjah also claims two islands, Sir Abu Nu’ayr and Abu Musa, with the latter claim being disputed and the island being controlled by Iran.
Historically, Sharjah was one of the wealthiest towns in this region with a settlement in existence for over 5000 years. In the early 18th century Al Qasimi clan (Huwala tribe) established itself in Sharjah, c. 1727 declaring Sharjah independent. On 8 January 1820, Sheikh Sultan I signed the General Maritime Treaty with Britain, accepting a protectorate to keep the Ottoman Turks out. Like four of its neighbours, Ajman, Dubai, Ras al-Khaimah, and Umm al-Qaiwain, its position on the route to India made it important enough to be recognized as a salute state.

So happy to be back on Flickr, I took tons of photos on Chincoteague NWP. I've been under the weather and this was the first vacation I've had in a while. The weather was beautiful and so were the breaking waves and sea birds were everywhere. This was from a toy camera which I adore because it has a Leica lens.

Side is a beautiful coastal resort on the Mediterranean. It is approximately 75kms east of Antalya (one of Turkey`s largest cities) and is located on a small peninsula only 800m in length. In this pretty town, modern architecture, chic shops and late night bars stand in juxtaposition with the ruins of an ancient city. Flanked by two stretches of golden beach, surrounded by the sparkling waters of Mediterranean on both sides and bestowed with the endless archeological wonders. Side's natural geography made it the most important place in Pamphylia from the Mediterranean to Mount Taurus.
The ruins of the Apollo Temple are located near to the harbour of Side. The temple ruins are dedicated to Apollo, god of light, art and beauty. It was built during the Roman Civilization and looks over the ancient port. The temple of Apollo is also surrounded by other important ruins that date back to 7th century B.C. Side was one of the main cities of the ancient region known as Pamphylia that later became Antalya.

The big purple dinosaur is on lease to Norfolk Southern and now Altoonaworks reports 15 of them are joining the dark side permanently. The SD90MACs are being traded for 15 MP15DCs; more fodder for the new SD70ACU program.
