Join England and Wales men's roller derby teams as they host the largest Road to Calgary event so far. Birmingham will see them challenge France and Scotland in a round robin battle to the death (or at least to the medals).
Not content with hosting six of the highest level games you'll see in England men's Derby this year, we thought we'd invite some of our besties to come and play too.
Saturday will see Vagine Regime UK go head to head with Vagine Regime Nordic. The fan girl and boy in you is going to need to contain themselves for this one!

Yoga Anatomy: This is a big part of a 200 hr YTT program. All Yoga teachers need to understand the structure of the human body to increase the effectiveness of asanas and protect the body from injuries. Make sure your teacher training program has a strong anatomy section.
Yoga studio experience: It’s important to select a yoga school that is reputable and has vast experience in running YTT certification programs. Make sure the yoga studio you have selected has conducted 40+ 200 hrs YTT batches and could deliver testimonials from students who become yoga teachers from there.
Number of students: Check out how students do your batch hold during the 200 hr YTT course. You will receive more individual attention, thorough feedback, and comprehensive classes in a smaller batch of a 200 hr ytt certification program.
Yoga alliance certified: Another important aspect to check out before joining a 200 hr YTT program. If you want to teach at some point in the future, make sure the yoga school you prefer is certified by Yoga Alliance.
Evaluate course syllabus: Study the curriculum and ask about how many hours are dedicated to each topic if not already defined. Pick a 200 hr YTT program that speaks your language.

Vanessa Kelly is a deaf disability advocate, speaker, and writer who practices narrative advocacy in the belief that sharing our stories is a change catalyst. While disability is often viewed as a “corruption” of the senses, Kelly will illustrate — and embody — how disability is a variance that creates, invites, and supports creativity.
A practicing corporate lawyer, Vanessa serves in several disability-related leadership roles. She is the co-head of her employer’s Disability Network, where she creates educational programming and training, participates in disability recruiting initiatives, and implements disability-inclusive policies and procedures. Vanessa serves on the Hearing Loss Association of America New York chapter Board of Directors where she is also an active chapter member and featured speaker. She mentors professionals with disabilities and was recently selected to be a mentor in the Lime Connect Foundation Program for Young Professionals. She served on the faculty for the Practicing Law Institute’s Diversity & Inclusion in Law Practice 2022 symposium. Vanessa has been featured on NPR and in other media publications. She is currently featured in the Center for Hearing and Communication and NYU’s Cochlear Implant Center’s marketing campaigns.
I couldn't see the umbrella, actually, when I posed, thanks to the limited vision. This was a suit fit/dressing test. Boxes were still being adjusted to try and make sure they worked and such.
