Grille Surround - A Work-in-Progress. I have to weld the four separate parts together, and polish, before welding the stainless mesh to the back of the surround.
I am really pleased with the way it has turned out so far - but it has taken two solid days to get this far - crazy or what!!
Edit:: Looking back it was easier to get the overall dimensions right by making several sections. The straight sides after each bend could be trimmed to length and welded easily. Making the bends was not easy: getting them in the exact position in the section would have been impossible with the equipment I had.
Gov. Steve Beshear joined state lawmakers, community leaders and angel investors to ceremonially sign House Bill 445, which expands the Kentucky Investment Fund Act (KIFA) so that individual angel investors – people who provide capital for startup companies – can receive tax credits. The signing took place at UpTech, a small business incubator in Covington.

Since being established NHS England has been seeking and developing ways to put patient participation at the heart of its decision-making.
Over the last few months we have been working with colleagues throughout the health and care sectors, and beyond, to try to describe what that really means in the context of a 21st Century NHS.
On October 22 and 23 we hosted two development days to move towards this concept of establishing a Citizens' Assembly.
We have a real and genuine commitment to building this new approach to participation with our communities -- which means that we have to be open to change and amend our ideas as we listen to, hear and respond to feedback.

Maj. Dennis Sugrue, the Los Angeles District deputy commander, joined Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe and local officials in a celebrating the Los Angeles County Flood Control District 100-year anniversary kickoff celebration at Morris Dam, May 1. The celebration is the first of several special events showcasing the LACFCD 100 years of service, 1915-2015. During the celebration Sugrue presented Knabe with a plaque that recognized the district’s lasting partnership with the LACFCD.
The District serves 85 cities and operates 14 major dams, 487 miles of river channel, 162 debris basins and numerous key stormwater facilities throughout the county. It safeguards the lives and property of more than 10 million county residents, and provides one-third of the local water supply.
