Trader Joe's space here is actually newer as it was at least partly built in the area that had been parking for Kmart's auto center back in the day and perhaps also for the garden shop. I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe some of the former Hobby Lobby is used for this tenant.

The last thing I wanted to do after working all day, and clearing snow at home after, was take Joe for a walk. I think I may have needed and enjoyed it more than him :-)
i feel like i haven't put a manip up in forever....maybe because i haven't and i'm so sorry. i just, haven't really had the muse to do that lately and it's all blah. i think it's because i don't have any ideas on who i want to manip. so if you have anyone that you would like me to make a manip up, then just add a comment here, and i'll see what i can do <3

A photo of my Dad in his backyard Sherwood Park, Alberta, in 1987. 32 years ago. I took this shot. I think with his camera - that became my camera, because all his cameras became my cameras, in the end.

Joe Jonas shopped with a friend at American Rag in Los Angeles, CA on September 15, 2010 and seemed to have a great time. The middle Jonas used to always wear a purity ring, like his brothers, on his wedding finger. However, Joe hasn't been bashful about showing a ring free finger as of late. Could his new rumored girlfriend, Ashley Green have something to do with that?

9x12 Joe Strummer quick sketch
When i was young(er) liked the clash, they were more real, authentic than lot of what was out there. Left rock behind me years & years ago. Still felt bitter sweet to be in Whole Foods and hear Magnificent Seven playing while yuppies bought their Quinoa and bottles of California red.
Taken: August 22, 2010 from 4th row
I printed this photo and gave it to Joe at the Meet & Greet on 08.27.2010.
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., aka Joe Biden, is the 46th and current president of the United States. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the 47th vice president from 2009 to 2017 under Barack Obama and represented Delaware in the United States Senate from 1973 to 2009.
This caricature of Joe Biden was adapted from a photo in the public domain from the U.S. Secretary of DefenseFollow's Flickr photostream.
Joe Ades (1934-2009) frequently set up a table at a corner in Union Square to sell vegetable peelers, from 1993 until he died. He became a NY phenomenon; there's a display of his press clippings behind him. Born in Manchester, he died one day after obtaining US citizenship. More at Wikipedia.
Beginning now: A new photo series where I will be going through my "small Joe" collection, grouping figures and vehicles by the year in which the character/vehicle (or this version of them) debuted.
As a kid I had all the '82 Joes except for the vehicle drivers. I actually did have all the vehicles and artillery pieces release that year in my childhood ( except for the MMS) but I didn't get them from stores, so I didn't have the drivers/gunners they were supposed to come with.
Out of the figures in this shot, only one is truly vintage: Rock N Roll, and he is the 1983"swivel arm" version. The others are in this shot because they are repainted reissues that are identical to the originals except for the paint jobs and Snake Eyes has a different crotch!
As a child, I had all the "straight arm" versions. Most of them had at least one broken thumb. If you got into GI Joe in 1982, you know what I'm talking about.
I can still remember the moment I first learned about these "new" Joes (I was 8 years old in '82 and therefore old enough to have played with Adventure Team and Super Joe). I had gotten up really early to watch a kid's show called "the Great Space Coaster" and saw a commercial for GI Joe #1 that blew my mind. I was so excited I barged into my poor Mom's bedroom when she was trying to sleep after working a night shift to share my excitement. I didn't find a copy if that comic until a few years later, GI Joe #2 was my first taste of the storyline, and Flash was my first Joe. I was hoping that they would reveal what this team of Joes had to do with the Adventure Team, but by the time they linked those two versions of GI Joe together I was in High School and busy tying to pretend that I was too cool to still care about this sort of thing. I was an avid Star Wars collector , but at this point Return of the Jedi was a year in the future and Kenner was scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as ideas for new figures to release on Empire Strikes Back. I needed something new to collect badly, and these newfangled Joes could do amazing things that Star Wars toys couldn't do (their arms and legs BEND!) and only Mego figures could do that, but the Megos didn't come with all the wonderful accessories that GI Joe did! I was and am still, in love.
Many of the '82 Joes have a more uniform look than what we are now used to seeing in successive waves of Joes. This is mainly becasue at this point Hasbro was not sure if this re-launch would be a success or not, so they didn't invest a lot of money into it, re-using heads and other body parts as much as possible to save on production costs. The "in universe" explanation would be that at this point the Joes were made up exclusively made up of Army personnel. Thier look would become more diverse as agents were added from other branches of the military.
Either I wasn't looking hard enough, or Joe Boxer brand products aren't as numerous as they once were at Kmart. I believe this is the only Joe Boxer photo I got.
