What makes this artist so special is that it’s a safe assumption to say that the majority of people alive today have seen his artwork! His work includes paintings and illustrations for characters such as Hawk Man, The Green Lantern, Conan the Barbarian, The Punisher, Lara Croft, and Captain America just to name a few. Producing his first cover at the age of 17 for Heavy Metal Magazine in 1977, Joe Jusko is a comic book artist who has worked for all the major comic book companies including Marvel, DC, Crusade, Innovation, Harris, Wildstorm, Top Cow, and Byron Preiss. Graduating that year as well from the New York High School of Art & Design (the only high school in the country that offers a curriculum geared towards commercial art) he received the DC Comics Award of Excellence in Cartooning. In 2007 Joe Jusko was inducted into the prestigious Society of Illustrators and received the Certificate of Merit from them for his more recent work in ‘Tomb Raider’ (based off the popular PlayStation videogame). Tal vez no fué de esos conciertos en los q digas "dios q conciertazo de la ostia con efectos y decoraciones de la leche"... pero sí fué un conciertazo INCREIBLEMENTE EMOTIVO,... de esos en los que una servidora sale de él con un nervio dentro pq me ha hecho ponerme de punta los pelos en según q momentos en los q tocaba...
Tal vez no fué cercano, pero a mi parecer, era más timidez q otra cosa, eso de hacer muchas posturas tipo Satriani como q no, y es q supongo q cada uno es como es.
También tuvo su momento de 15 minutos de canción o más con una espléndida soltura con todas las guitarras que sacó... unas 10 conté, y seguro q fueron más, a cada cual más chula y a cada cual con su canción impoluta.
Es un genio, y también se equivoca, y hubo un momento de error en el q él mismo no le importó parar y pedir disculpas para corregirlo y seguir con otra tremenda canción suya para que sonara como él creía q era perfecta... puf... en fin, no sé qué decir más... pero yo quiero volver a verle otra vez... tras todas las penurías anteriores al viaje, con sus "problemillas" al final... VALIÓ TREMENDAMENTE LA PENA SÓLO POR VERLE A ÉL.
Ahora algunos... esperaremos a ver si le podemos ver en el proyecto con el colabora con entre otros GLENN HUGHES en el grupo BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION. Q según dicen en revistas de rock, ya tienen confirmadas fechas con el grupo para verano del siguiente año.

I tried the new BK Joe Coffee at Burger King Friday. It tasted like the same Burger King coffee I had in June. Me thiketh my Burger King hasn't made the turnover completely.
I like the sleepy eye for the decaf. I wanted to try the Turbo blend, but did not see until I was about to fill my coffee cup that you have to ask for the Turbo Blend "behind the counter".
I kind of actually like this one.

From when he was house hunting. Wow, those little boys aren't little anymore. First, Kevin is getting married. Now, Joe is looking to move out? I was talking to my friend, and she said, "Now Nick needs to do something grown up. Like bungee jumping!" And I was like, "He can wait until he's at least 18." Hah.

I’m going to the Strummer of Love festival this summer (check it out, it’s worth it!) and am really excited about it. It is a festival in memory of Joe Strummer, frontman of the Clash and a great songwriter/artist. This man was very important for music as well as social changes and a mindset that lives on in the hearts of people. Equally important is his legacy which is kept alive by the Strummerville foundation.
