IF you look at page 76 of "Curiously Sinister Art of Jim Flora" you will notice a similarity between the characters on one of Jim's audition booklets he mailed to Columbia. He was almost immediately hired!

I think I just got my Ma hooked on The Office. Mwahaha! She swore she never would like that show.
Tobie, it's spreading and it's all your fault. :o)
I'm not much fond of this one either, but it's on my computer, sitting there, mocking me. Now it can mock all of you. Don't let it. Mock back.

Jim-Jim Falls is a locally well-known tourist location south of the Kakadu Highway.
I cannot be certain of the mapped position, detail is lacking on the flickr mapping. It's somewhere thereabouts, though . . .
Jim is principal character of the graphic novel "Pinche Mundo" by my friends Kike Benlloch and Diego Blanco, publish by Polaqia.
I like this book of Diego & Kike very much, and decided made this illustration tribute to their great work.

Jim told me a few things about himself, when I met him going up Glastonbury Tor. After we chatted for a few minutes, I said maybe I’ll see you at the top. “If I make it!”, he said. He did make it. I asked if he would like to be in my project. He said that I couldn’t share the things that he had told me. I said that would be OK. He could remain anonymous. Just his first name would be enough.
Jim kindly took off his glasses for the photo, without me even asking. Making it much easier for me to focus on his eyes.
Thank you Jim for being part of my project. It was good to meet you today.

Jim Morrison grave at Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris. He was born in Melbourne, Florida, he was the lead singer and lyricist of the popular American rock band The Doors, and is considered to be one of the most charismatic frontmen in the history of rock music.
I and a friend were just about finished up with our photo outing in Downtown Bloomington when we met a very friendly gentleman named Jim. He was pulling out of a parking spot, saw us with or cameras, and stopped to see what were were shooting. I replied, "Everything! Would you mind if I took your picture? You got a great face." He disagreed with my assessment and politely replied, "Na" (pronounced more like "naw"). So not wanting to give up as I have yet to be turned down, I said, "Well, how about a shot of the back or your head then?" He laughed. I then explained the 100 strangers project and he eventually caved and I got this shot. We talked (and joked) with him for a about 15 minutes and found out he is the co-owner of an auto repair shop in downtown Bloomington. He and his partner have been in business 21 years so I am thinkin' they are pretty good mechanics. Anyway, Jim was a lot of fun to talk to and I got the sense that if I ever needed some tips on playing a practical joke, he'd be my man ;-)
It was nice to meet you Jim and thanks for agreeing to be added to my 100 Strangers Project.
