Jim Wright
Another photograph I found interesting and powerful is called “Born a Slave” by Jim Wright. This photograph is of much older women who as a child grew up a slave. In her eyes you can see the struggle and hardship she went through growing up into this world where she had no say in what she wanted to become, she was to be a slave. Jim Wright captured so much detail with her hand and her face. Making the picture black and white brings out more feeling and sorrow. Also having the background completely white makes her stand out more and keeps the focus on her. How her head weighs on her hand and not having her look towards the camera truly makes you wonder what her life story was.
Kevin's gonna kill me if I shoot another picture of him. This is our once (sometimes twice) adventure to Jungle Jim's for their open faced roast beef sandwhich. It's pretty damn good!
July 6, 2018 - Arctic Hotpoint Solutions expedition leader Jim Salazar in the lobby of Hotel Kulusuk. He and a team of researchers are on a mission to locate the aircraft of the Lost Squadron in Greenland. They are searching for a P-38 "ECHO" on the Greenland's Ice Cap. For more information on this expedition check out this website which I found: www.ugcs.com/en/news-entry/expedition-to-locate-p-38-echo...
Jim the chef. What I love about Jim is that he cares as much about the food he cooks as I do. He's a perfectionist to good purpose. His macaroni and cheese is so good that I find myself thinking about it sometimes at random moments.
He's also an amazing friend to have.
