This model was presented to my father-in-law approximately 25 years ago due to the fact he was the chief technical electrician involved in the build of these aircraft at Scottish Aviation, Prestwick Airport.
After de died, some 18 years ago, it has followed my wife around and sits proudly in my study.
I had planned to take a photo of a bird in our garden at one of the feeding stations but after sitting outside for around one hour, I gave up!! Something to do with our "goddam" cats walking about, I think!!

Jetstream T1 XX492 was built by Scottish Aviation and first flew on 7th November 1975. In September 1982 the aircraft was transferred to the Multi-Engine Training School, 6 Flying Training School, at RAF Finningley. and operated with the code A. This aircraft is now on display at the Newark Air Museum.
I love the jetstreams criss-crossing in the sky above a few overhanging weeds.

British Aerospace Jetstream 41 built in 1995 for Manx Airlines. To Eastern Airways in 2003 and leased to SkyExpress of Crete in 2010. Returned to Eastern two years later.

Belonging to 750 Squadron at RNAS Culdrose Royal Navy Jetstream T.2 XX483 was pictured at HMS Gannet/Prestwick Airport on June 2nd 1984. The nose section was saved and can be found at the Dumfries & Galloway Aviation Museum.
