This model was presented to my father-in-law approximately 25 years ago due to the fact he was the chief technical electrician involved in the build of these aircraft at Scottish Aviation, Prestwick Airport.

After de died, some 18 years ago, it has followed my wife around and sits proudly in my study.

I had planned to take a photo of a bird in our garden at one of the feeding stations but after sitting outside for around one hour, I gave up!! Something to do with our "goddam" cats walking about, I think!!

The above image is a scan from an original Kodachrome™ slide. The default size is 2000 x 1250 pixels, so clicking on the photo will enlarge it for better viewing.

The original image comes from my slide collection, amassed over the past 40+ years. They are a combination of my own photographs and ones acquired through trades or purchases.

I created this Photostream in 2017 for the purpose of holding my slide collection as an archive, as otherwise they would just remain in binders and boxes, not being enjoyed by anyone, myself included.

Comments are welcome.

Weeks before the final Jetstream retires from RN service we get this treat at the Northolt Night Photo Shoot. Its a nice aircraft to get to photograph on extended exposure, some nice sleek lines and then the great Propellor Blur forming circles
