Former cadets, military personnel, elected officials, and community members gathered on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Lawrenceville Armory in Lawrenceville, NJ, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of New Jersey's Youth ChalleNGe Academy. Over the past 30 years, the program has graduated more than 4,500 cadets, providing at-risk youth with a second chance through a rigorous 5-month residential training focused on education, discipline, and personal growth. The event featured remarks from Deputy Adjutant General Mike Lapoint and former NJYCA Commandant Walter Nall, and marked this milestone as the NJYCA Class 58 proudly accepted their diplomas.
