I wish I'd been visiting Jersey about a month later as it would have brought the position of the sunset much closer to the lighthouse. Sadly I couldn't move along the cliff edge any further.

State Theatre hosted a red carpet event—co-hosted by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders—on November 12 to screen the world premiere of NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network's documentary, Treasures of New Jersey: State Theatre New Jersey, a feature on State Theatre New Jersey past, present, and future. About 400 people attended the red carpet event, including NJTV’s General Manager John Servidio; Middlesex County of Chosen Freeholders Director Ron Rios and Freeholder Charles Tommaro; Michael Sneed, Executive Vice President, Global Corporate Affairs & Chief Communication Officer for Johnson & Johnson; and the First Lady of New Jersey Tammy Murphy. Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games at The College of New Jersey. Athletes enjoy the parade, lighting of the cauldron, and fireworks, followed by music and dancing.
