At CSD 19 High Level Opening Session at General Assembly Hall, United Nations Headquarters, New York. He told that US has not done enough for sustainable development, which in my opinion is a brave thing to have said out loud at UN. But Jeffrey is in a class of his own.
I felt uncomfortable about using the pictures of victims. But I didn't want to ignore them, so this is the best I could come up with...

Desperate for water, Jeffrey dragged his little body across the lawn, to the oasis that was our neighbor's wading pool. Little did he know that he was about to encounter Brittney, and Baby. Four year old twin girls, hosting a barbie beach party that day. As Jeffrey slowly, inched his way up the side of the pool, gasping for a drink of water, Baby grabbed him. And threw him to her sister, Brittney. A rousing game of tug of war ensued, too gruesome to go into detail. After that, Jeffrey was forced to play dress up with Malibu Stacey and her sidekick Tropical Tiffany.
Thankfully, the girls' mother, alerted by the louder than usual squeals coming from the backyard, went to check things out. Shocked by what she found, mama grabbed Jeffrey from Baby's clutches and made a mad dash to our house. Wiping off the lipgloss and glitter gel along the way, she rushed Jeffrey to us.
He was a pale gray when he arrived, but with proper care, good food and lots of therapy, Jeffrey is the happy and healthy jelly you see today! Longing for a permanent home far from Brittney and Baby, we are searching for prospective parents for our little friend. Please consider making Jeffrey a member of your family-it would simply make his day to make your acquaintance!

Jeffrey Jones The great Master.
So quite the story behind this portrait that I took while hanging out with Ms. Kat in graffiti alley ... unfortunately I cannot recall if he said his name was Jeremy or Jeffrey. Bad me.
Anyways, we are wandering through the alley ways and we come across a group of young men with a video camera, a nice black cruiser motorcycle and a handsome fellow dressed nicely. We say hello and pass by them. Soon, the one gentleman starts to sing and we realize they're making a Bollywood-pop music video. How damned awesome is that? I turned to Kat and said "This is partly why I *love* Toronto!"
We continue to shoot but keep close so we can watch and listen since he's quite a good singer.
Then along comes very loud and quite drunk (and maybe high too) Jeffrey-Jeremy. "So, you guys making a video huh? Making a video in the alley way eh?" On and on ... the boys all turn to look. The singer keeps at it like a pro and keeps singing without missing a beat. Dude here goes over, talking loudly as he goes and talks with the guys for awhile.
Then he walks back towards us. Oh goodie. "So what are you two doing? Shooting photos of the graffiti?" But it sounds more like 'gravity' with an 'f' with the way he's talking. More blather blather. I realize he's just drunk and not a threat and just talk politely to him.
He then asks for me to take a photo of him. Okay - why the heck not? This is when the half empty bottle of Jameson comes out of his pocket (it's in his hands). I take the shot - we talk a bit more and he asks if he can see the shot. "Sorry - I told you man, it's a film camera."
"So when can I see it??"
"In about a week."
"So I guess I'll just have to stick with you for a week then." Oh gawd. Okay ... I look at Kat and signal to follow me and point discretely up Augusta to Queen. He's still talking away. We get to Queen, turn right and I manage to help us escape by giving the excuse that we have to go into the fabric store to look for stuff.
Thankfully he doesn't follow us. Nor recognize us about 20 minutes later farther down Queen. Whew!!

There was enough snow Saturday morning to shovel off the driveway. Not much, but enough to make it worthwhile. If you shovel it off, the sun dries the driveway off. If you don't shovel, the sun melts the snow which then refreezes later creating ice - and that's slippery!

At university I wrote a Lovecraftian story about an ancient evil that pervades a small town, conveyed along "The Old Coach Road". My mum made up ghostly stories about a neighbouring road and this inspired my story.
To prep for a student film of the story in 1992/1993, I made dozens of black and white photos of locations in Blairstown and Hardwick in New Jersey, USA.
These are pictures taken in my family's home during initial photography in 1995 or so.
