This dock is lightly used but not for main ferry service. I love its position against the city and the Harbour Bridge.
Just out of frame to the left is the opera house - I needed to change to a wider angle lens to capture it, but as I was changing a group showed up and took over the area. So I had to "settle" for this as my keeper shot.
Sentinel Dome is known for a Jeffrey Pine that grew from its peak (see photograph). The pine was photographed as early as 1867 by Carleton Watkins, and was the subject of a well-known photograph by Ansel Adams. The tree died during the drought of 1976, but remained standing until August 2003.
For the Happy Caturday group theme "Retrospective".
One of my 2019 favourite photos of Jeffrey. I love his sweet expression and how his colours match the tree and roof.

To create this ceremonial garment, Jeffrey Gibson assembled what he calls a “patchwork” of materials, techniques and imagery: woven river cane and beadwork drawn from his Choctaw and Cherokee heritages; photographs of police officers at the Dakota Access Pipeline protests; and powwow regalia items such as jingles. Gibson’s performance work takes its title from “Manifesto Antropofago” 1928, a polemical essay by Brazilian theorist Oswald de Andrade, which argues that Indigenous peoples can best survive by imbibing their colonizers’ cultures and radically transforming them to support their own communities.
The prototype version of the captain of my yet-to-be-posted spaceship. I love this guy's stereotypical Firefly-esque captain look.
Jeffrey Sparrick is well-renowned throughout the galaxy for his smuggling activities. He and his ship Feigned Ignorance have seen regions of space few others have seen. He is cunning, but not ruthless, and knows when to quit. His Achilles heel is uncontrollable; his fame leads many to want him dead. It is rumored that he sometimes routes supplies to Captain Blue Star, and he maintains the story that he once made a delivery of 1,000 Futuron Moon Pies to the Nerds in Space set, though no one believes him.
Likes: Women (not too fast, not too slow), money, action films, leisurely piloting Feigned Ignorance, power naps, and spacewalks.
Dislikes: Knife fights, hallucinogens, members of Spyrius, losing crew members, and (MS2):Mars Species 2.

Jeffrey Fontana Park is a community park located next to Guadalupe Oak Grove Park in San Jose, California that is dedicated to San Jose Police Office Jeffrey Fontana (1977-2001).
Caught Jeffrey at the computer with my headphones and his cowboy hat. Thought it might make a cool photo. Took the shot at ISO3200, ran it through NIK Dfine 2.0 to kill the noise, then ran it through Nik Color Efx to get this 'old time' photo look (and put a lot of noise/grain back in haha) to go with the hat and give a funny contrast with the headphones and computer. I kinda liked how it turned out :). Not a masterpiece or nothing but I think it is kind of fun.
A once thriving uranium mining town, Jeffrey City now sits forgotten, forlorn, and rotting away in the Wyoming sun, rain, and snow.
If you ever get a chance to see Jeffrey Lewis, I highly recommend it; he puts on a totally charming indie-rock show. As for the cover, I like it because it reminds me of Madballs.
Jeffrey was sitting on the southeast corner of LaSalle and Wacker. He's been out here since March. He had some health issues and was in the hospital for awhile. He has stayed in a shelter and an apartment. His social security money hasn't been enough, he said, "I come out here whenever I need money".

A statue of Jeffrey Baldwin, the Toronto boy who starved to death in 2002 after being severely neglected by his grandparents, was unveiled at Greenwood Park in Leslieville.
The five-year-old boy’s tragic story moved Ottawa resident Todd Boyce to raise money to build the statue. -City News
Jeffrey was on Adams Street, just west of Wells street. He's been homeless for about a year. "I'm going through some changes", he said. He has carpal tunnel in his hands and hasn't been able to work. In his earlier days, he was in the Marines. "I've been all over the world", he said with a smile. He also said he has experience in broadcast communications. He has an extensive family that lives on the southside of Chicago. His piece of advice is to "Enjoy life!"
Stranger 22/100 -- Jeffrey was fulfilling his shift at the family yard sale situated one block from the city's Gaslight Festival. He is learning digital photograph on an "antique" camera -- a digital Canon from 2017! I had to chuckle. At his age, anything 8 years old is ancient.

I went back to my archives to revisit some images on my to do list. Hope you enjoy them. Jeffrey City Wyoming is a Uranium mining ghost town. Windriver is a far ranging area in Wyoming that consists of the Windriver Mountain Range and of course the Wind River.
