Beijocas queridos!
I had to do a little quick repair on this facesculpt as one of his little beard braids came right out. Not broken, just not glued in proper. It has now been fixed and here he is. He's just glorious.
I can't even express enough how amazing this figure really is.

In the UK they are running a promotion in the Sun newspaper where you get a free lego model a day. This one was actually from Sundays edition of the News of The World.
Im a bit out of practice with my lego lighting so might take me a few shots to get back into it.
Thanks for looking.
I do love the "new" scenes that have Jack Sparrow in them on the Pirates of the Caribbean in Walt Disney World.
Thanks for looking and stay safe.

A portrait I shot at the London Fiim & TV show at the Excel in 2014. Superb costume etc, but I never really had much inspiration with how to improvise with it - until now.

One Thousand and One Nights - Second Story - Sinbad the Sailor
After dissipating the wealth left to him by his father, Sinbad goes to sea to repair his fortune. He sets ashore on what appears to be an island, but this island proves to be a gigantic whale on which trees have taken root ever since the world was young. The whale dives into the depths, the ship departs without Sinbad, and Sinbad is saved by the chance of a passing wooden trough sent by the grace of Allah. He is washed ashore on a densely wooded island. While exploring the deserted island he comes across one of the king's horse grooms. The groom brings Sinbad to the king. The king befriends Sinbad and so he rises in the king's favour becoming a trusted courtier. One day Sinbad's own ship arrives in port, and he reclaims his goods (still in the ship's hold). Sinbad gives the king his goods and in return the king gives him rich presents. Sindbad sells these presents for a great profit. Sinbad returns to Baghdad where he resumes a life of ease and pleasure.

Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow
Noel Cruz is one of the most versatile & distinguished repaint artists in the doll community. He is most recognized for his character & celebrity based dolls due to their uncanny resemblance to the people they portray. His dolls are derived from several models like Gene, Tyler, Sydney, etc, by various doll-makers such as Robert Tonner & Franklin Mint. His repaints as well as his portraits are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence. Highly regarded among collectors and artists alike, Noel attempts to raise the bar and bring a fresh take to the common mass produced doll with every face he paints. Noel's specialty is with one of a kind repaints. The beauty of repaints is that almost no two are exactly alike just as no two artists are alike.

- "That's it, then? That's the secret, grand adventure of the infamous Jack Sparrow. You spent three days lying on a beach drinking rum?!"
- "Welcome to the Caribbean, love."
Until I find my MOJO I will just have to bore you all with another Dark Ride shot. ;-)~
This is from Walt Disney Worlds 'Pirates of the Caribbean', one of the ALL-TIME classic Disney rides! This ride inspired the movie series, which re-inspired the ride.
I was able to shoot in tight on this scene with my 24-120 f/4. I had a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the movement of the scene while moving on the ship, but not fast enough to freeze Jack's arm from moving. I like it though because it gives a sense of motion/action within this scene.
I think the thing that I really love about this shot is the depth that is in it. This was taken with an F4 lens, and the subject is nice and sharp and the background is soft enough to give it that beautiful depth. I really love that Nikon 24-120mm f4!
Thanks for looking!
